From the 16-track master tape of the live album "LOVE YOU LIVE", a different mix sound source leaked by the people involved is here in a completely limited edition that is an official quality sound board sound source and is imported directly from overseas. Although only 5 songs are included, the highlight is that you can listen to "Angie," "Hey Negrita," and "You Gotta Move," which are not officially included, on a perfect soundboard. The following is a comment from the sound engineer at the time of the leak, and details of the process can be found here. ``I began working as a professional recording engineer at Alpha International Recording Studio in Philadelphia in the fall of 1980. During my first few years working as an assistant engineer and doing overdub sessions, I would practice mixing multi-track masters in my spare time until the next job came along. is. And before that, in the late summer of 1977, Mick and Keith found this studio before it was even open for business. They were secretly looking for a professional studio where they could do some overdubs on the 2" 16-track master tapes of Love You Live. Keith had been avoiding the press after being arrested for heroin in Canada, and the studio became a cover for him. Then, in the studio session, Mick overdubbed the vocals on five songs and a few takes. So, that master was produced with the original 16 tracks, and the original master was stored in the Alpha Tape warehouse, but in the end, the master was never asked to be returned by the Stones side or anyone at the record label. Without it. So, naturally, I wanted to play around with the mixes of some of the best R&R bands in the world, and the rest of Alpha's engineering staff all used those rare masters to create their own mixes. In the meantime, the opportunity came along for me. First of all, that precious master only had "Hot Stuff" and "Star Star" left from the official release album, and "Angie" and "Hey Negrita" recorded at a concert in Paris were unreleased. , and probably ``You Gotta Move'' from the 1976 Cleveland gig. So I started mixing my interpretation of what the Stones should sound like to my ears, and I didn't have enough time, so I finished mixing all five songs in three hours. First of all, Charlie's drum, kick, snare, tom and cymbal overdubs were recorded in pretty good condition for the four songs, so I was able to extract some good snaps from the snare. Also, it seems that Bill's bass was not recorded directly, but through a microphone, and I think the microphone was recorded close to the amplifier. So I was careful not to make the bass sound too lumpy. Also, Keithron's guitar was originally recorded with a great sound. Billy's Hammond B-3 had a mono track, so I used a technique I've always used to create pseudo-stereo by shifting the sound of the tape, and split it between left and right sides for "Angie." It worked, and now I can hear it better with headphones. Elsewhere, on "You Gotta Move," Ronnie's slide delayed the tape. I'm not sure if I used pseudo-stereo again, but this is how it turned out. And Mick's vocals were pretty sloppy and distorted, especially when he forgot lyrics during live shows. But they are more complete than the Starry Studio overdubs, and I kept the original concert vocals as the main vocals. I also took overdubs of the two choruses of Mick's ``Star Star'' and split them to the left and right to blend in with Keith, Ronnie, and Billy's backing vocals. In the end I mixed it on a 1/4 inch reel at 15ips with a noise reduction device, which was the best I could do at the time. But the cassette tapes I recorded on weren't in very good condition, so in 2002 I used a Sony MiniDisc recorder to convert the Sony DAT reel tapes to Philips CDRs. Recently, I transferred it to MP3/320hlz, which you can hear on this CD. ” 1. HOT STUFF 2. STAR STAR 3. ANGIE(*) 4. HEY NEGRITA(*) 5.
