Unreleased recording from the Yokohama performance on March 12th of the 2003 "Licks" tour. Recorded from the original DAT master provided directly by the recorder. Although it was recorded from the stands, the audience around the recorder was relatively quiet, so you can enjoy the whole show with a clear and stable sound that is more than enough for appreciation. Excessive equalization was avoided, so it can be said that the warm sound that is gentle on the ears is a very attractive sound source. Of course, there is "YOKOHAMA 2003", which has been a big hit due to its high quality, so if you want to enjoy the live performance on this day, you should start with that! It is natural to say that, and that is why it is released with a gift title, but anyway, many of the existing records from the Yokohama performance at the time had a strange bass sound, and in addition, they were all so-called "donshari" finishes that reflected the trend of equalization wars that was overheated at the time in 2003, so for fans who know them, the sound of this new source stand recording will sound very fresh. Although the sound gives a sense of distance, the balance between the musical tones and the cheers is optimal, and it is easy to listen to. There is no doubt that an excellent microphone is used, so even if there is a sense of distance, the recording that captures the musical tones firmly is very reliable, and it is a good document sound source that you can listen to from start to finish with a good feeling. In addition to the good sound quality, one of the points is that the pre-show BGM before the show is recorded for 14 minutes and 40 seconds (!). As with the first day of the tour two days ago at the Budokan, which was too dramatic in every sense, the atmosphere of the relaxed blues that flows endlessly in the hot space before the show starts is just the best, and you can comfortably relive the unique atmosphere and uplifting feeling of this day that dominates the entire arena. The first song on this day was Street Fighting Man. If You Can't Rock Me and Don't Stop, which were played between It's Only Rock'n Roll, were performed for the first time in Japan. Ruby Tuesday, which was played almost every day on the Steel Wheels tour, was the only performance on this day of the 2003 Japan tour, and is an arrangement in which Keith plays electric acoustic guitar. Please enjoy the live performance in Yokohama, which will probably be the first and last in the history of the Stones' live performances, as the first North American style arena performance in Japan, with excellent new sources.
