In 2002, the Stones started their first world tour in three years in Boston on September 3rd. As a promotion for their 40th anniversary best album "Fourty Licks", they held three types of shows in major cities, theaters, arenas, and stadiums, as a new project, which attracted a lot of attention. The theaters mainly played rare songs, the arenas played half rare songs and half representative songs, and in the middle of the show, they played a few songs from the album as a special album, and the stadiums were mainly representative songs. The band moved to Chicago after Boston, where they also performed three shows at the arena (United Centre 9/10), stadium (Comiskey Park Center 9/13), and theater (Agora Ballroom 9/16). As the title suggests, this is a high-quality audience recording of the arena performance on the first day of Chicago on September 10th. The special feature of this day was "Some Girls", and three songs from Far Away Eyes were played in the first half of the show. The sound source is from "The STEVE JOB Master Series" which recently appeared on the Internet, and it was uploaded to the Internet by Steve's friend, "LUCIFER BURNS". Steve Jobe is from Dayton, Ohio, and has been active as a taper from about 1984 to 2003, and in addition to his hometown of Ohio, Cincinnati, and Dayton, he also traveled to New Jersey, Memphis, Tennessee, and Chicago to record shows. In fact, the sound quality of this first day's performance in Chicago is mild, but it is recorded with a stable, high-quality sound with little muffled sound, and it is fortunate that there are no noisy audiences around, making it a very wonderful record. It was recorded on a 110-minute cassette tape, but there are no gaps in the songs, the balance is good, and 3 minutes and 30 seconds after the show is recorded with a good feeling, so it is safe to say that it is the definitive sound source of the day. This is a high-quality 2-disc set that you should definitely add to your collection as a good sample of the early stages of the Licks Tour that excited fans all over the world.
