There has been a bit of confusion recently over the 1975 Rolling Stones mirrored master released by JEMS. The already released LA Forum recording from July 11 was mistakenly uploaded as the next day's recording. According to JEMS, the mistake was caused by the fact that the cassette label said the 12th, but the truth of the confusion seems to be that they panicked when the platform on which they were releasing the recording announced its closure. So JEMS not only released the genuine 12th mirrored master last week, but also the original platform retracted its closure and declared that new management members would be formed and continue. It seems that everything is back to normal now. Thus, the 12th mirrored master was a bit of a fuss, but it was also a day when they had a different problem from the previous day, when they stopped recording in the first half of the live show. Nakamichi's tape deck is equipped with a test tone mode and button used to adjust the recording level, but the deck hidden in Mirrored's bag on this day danced and touched the test tone button. As a result, the test tone was mixed in from the second half of "Honky Tonk Women" to the first half of "All Down The Line". Therefore, in the past, VGP "THE LOST MILLARD MASTERS" and EV "WHORES, COCAINE AND A BOTTLE OF JACK" released this sound source, the test tone was frequently mixed in, so they replaced the whole "Honky Tonk Women" test tone from the start to the beginning of "All Down The Line" with another audience recording "recorder 2". However, this time, in order to make the most of the mirrored master, detailed patches were thoroughly done. This is because the sound quality improvement this time is overwhelming. All of the past items mentioned above were downgraded to mono after being dropped to a generic version, but this time the rich, wide, and above all clear stereo feeling is striking. The result of making the most of it is this thorough adjustment. In the end, the compensation was thoroughly done using a sound board at the beginning of "All Down The Line", but here is a shocking fact. Even if you return from the soundboard to the original mirrored, the closeness of Ronnie's guitar remains the same. In contrast to the previous day, Ronnie's guitar is captured with a larger sound image, and as a result, the mirrored recording continues to have a natural state with the soundboard. Although Ronnie is larger, the balance is not as extreme as the previous day, and the sound quality that gives a unique sense of spread when listening with headphones is excellent. This was not conveyed at all in mono. Although it is an excavation by JEMS, whose power unique to the master explodes every time, this time the difference in sound quality is too large, and it is simply amazing. Needless to say, there is now an official video (and audio), but if it is a superb mirrored recording that gives you a sense of the pleasure unique to audience recording, you can be sure to enjoy it as a literal another look. In addition, the sound quality itself is very good, so not only enthusiasts but also beginners can enjoy the quality unique to mirrored. A new realization that comes from such a Ronnie-centered balance is his wonderful guitar playing. Ten years ago, when the footage of this day and the sound source of the next day were officially released, it became a hot topic, but this sound source also proves that Ronnie, who had just joined, played very enthusiastic leads at every show. In particular, the play at the end of the live performance, "Jumping Jack Flash" and "Sympathy For The Devil" is overwhelming. And yet, Keith's sound is also captured well, so for example, the mini guitar battle state in "You Can't Always Get What You Want" is perfect. As expected, it is only a recording that was carried out with the front row secured. In fact, there was a large video camera of the filming crew right next to him (!), so you can imagine how great the position was. In this case, the familiar pro shot video day, or the audience on the day of "L.A. FORUM 1975 4TH NIGHT: SOUNDBOARD" ... is an overwhelming upgrade of the front row mirrored recording that is so impressive that it is rather attractive. The super clear master excavation (plus the intervals between songs are longer than the official one and the documentary quality is outstanding) makes it a pleasure to listen to even if you're not a enthusiast!
