The issue of the mirrored masters of the LA Forum on July 11th and 12th caused unexpected confusion, but on the other hand, it was an unexpected blessing in disguise. The master on the 11th was mistakenly released for the above reasons, but it was surprisingly released in a natural state with better sound quality than the previous 2021 version. In the first place, the limited press CD "L.A. FORUM 1975 3RD NIGHT: MIKE MILLARD MASTER TAPES" released after the last release has been sold out for a long time, and many enthusiasts have been asking "Can you reissue it because it is a mirrored sound source of the 1975 LA Forum?" As a result, it was a blessing in disguise, as it was a great opportunity to re-release the same sound source. Moreover, this time "GRAF ZEPPELIN" will be in charge of supervising the sound source, making it possible to release a release that surpasses the previous one in every sense. When it was released in 2021, the clear stereo sound, which was different from the mono downgraded state of past items such as VGP's "THE LOST MILLARD MASTERS" and EV's "WHORES, COCAINE AND A BOTTLE OF JACK", made enthusiasts around the world ecstatic, but the even more natural state this time is wonderful. In addition, the last time, the intervals between songs had a peculiar texture that could be heard in dadgad remasters. In that case, it is all the more understandable that the difference in sound quality like this time has arisen. As is well known, Millard was disgusted by the noise around him and stopped recording at "Happy", and from then on, JEMS switched to the "Ed F" sound source this time as well, but the editing in the middle of the song is vivid. It switches so naturally that you don't notice it at first glance. However, the savior "Ed F" also ended recording as "Sympathy For The Devil" was heading towards the end, which was a great pity. Because of that, the song was not heard until the end (and even the beginning) last time, but this time, thanks to GRAF ZEPPELIN's careful adjustment using the recorder 3 used in the above-mentioned item, the complete recording was finally realized. Not only in terms of sound quality, but also in terms of content, the release surpasses the previous "L.A. FORUM 1975 3RD NIGHT: MIKE MILLARD MASTER TAPES". And for this release, GRAF ZEPPELIN gave it a new title, "LA FRIDAY". This is because this day is nothing other than a genuine Friday show. However, there have been many cases in the collector's edition area and in official releases from 10 years ago where the same title was given to the July 13th sound source. The root cause of this was the large "LA FRIDAY" letters dancing on the slick of "1975 NERVOUS BREAKDOWN," the last of the LP trilogy by VICKI VINYL, which was the first to release the show on the 13th, which gave the mistaken impression that the 13th was a Friday. However, Andrea of VICKI VINYL simply reused a photo of the Stones that was on a front page of Rolling Stone magazine that had a report on the LA Forum performance, and the catchphrase "LA Friday Night" that was on there just happened to be on it. However, the word "Night" was deleted from the copy. Furthermore, Billy Preston, who was between Ronnie and Charlie in the original photo, was also neatly deleted, making the slick designed in a way that would make even today's eraser magic look pale. That's why "LA FRIDAY" was appropriate for this release, and it was inevitable that the image from that time would be featured on the jacket. Of course, Billy Preston is still alive and well without being erased (laughs). In this way, the upgrade of the mirrored master of the 11th appeared at an unexpected timing. Not only was the sound quality and content of the album perfected by "GRAF ZEPPELIN," but the title was also reborn and the long-awaited re-release was released. A surprising development in which a new mirrored master masterpiece was born from an unexpected happening! The mirrored sound source released by JEMS on the 12th was actually the original sound source of the performance on the 11th that had already been released, but the sound itself was actually better than the one that had already been released. (Although it seems that this is due to the difference in the degree of software processing done by JEMS before the release...) In the previous mirrored 11th version, there was an artificial sound like a drainpipe that was reminiscent of the dadgad remaster between songs, which was very bothersome to some people. In this version, there are almost no such problems, and you can enjoy the mirrored sound (the mirrored sound itself is about 51 minutes long) without any discomfort from start to finish. Since the mirrored version is undelivered from the middle onwards, the missing parts are made up of a different sound source (commonly known as "Ed F") that JEMS released at the same time as the previous 11th version, and the beginning and ending of Sympathy, which cannot be made up with the Ed F sound source, are supplemented with a third sound source. Although there is a difference in sound quality when connecting, the longest recording has finally been realized in the best state at present! Postscript: This edition is one of the three separate LP titles released by IMP during the LP era, July 11th, 1975 (3rd Night), which mainly recorded July 13th, and the cover of "1975 Nervous Breakdown" has a confusingly edited photo from an article in Rolling Stone magazine at the time. The cover of this LP has the word "NIGHT" and Billy Preston completely removed from the photo of the article in the magazine, and it is now "L.A. FRIDAY". In 2012, the Stones Archive released the performance on the 13th under the title "L.A. FRINDAY (LIVE 1975)." However, when the physical version was released later, the title was quietly changed to "L.A. FORUM (LIVE IN 1975)" Another little tidbit: From a scene in the 1976 film "Go Bears!", at 3:10 a boy on a motorcycle says "8 O'clock Friday Night" and walks away. 11-year-old Tatum O'Neal: "I lost the game, so I gotta go to the Rolling Stones concert with the creep." Walter Matthau, who plays the coach, says, "What? What the hell? An 11-year-old girl playing the Rolling Stones..." That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard....Rolling Stones...11 Years old..The Forum, Inglewood, CA, USA 11th July 1975 TRULY PERFECT/ULTIMATE SOUND New Transfer: A different version of the previously released 11th July show.
