More than five years have passed since the 2019 "NO FILTER TOUR," and it now feels nostalgic. The Santa Clara performance, produced towards the end of the tour, was highly regarded by enthusiasts as a masterpiece. In fact, the classic "SANTA CLARA 2019" was produced in real time, and the CD release, which was highly praised after carefully adjusting some of the issues with the original sound source, was also highly praised. Now that Charlie is gone, it's also a masterpiece from his final tour. A completely separate mastered audience recording of Santa Clara 2019 was recently unearthed. What's more, the sound quality was exceptionally good, which is a real challenge. While "SANTA CLARA 2019" was an audience recording with excellent sound quality, it also had scattered noise and the mix balance and clarity were lacking despite the close sound image, which was thoroughly adjusted before its release. In this respect, this new recording not only offers a close sound image, but also shockingly close vocals, centered around Mick. And yet, the sound quality itself is exceptionally clear. In fact, the vocal image is so stunning, even in the harmonies of the intro to "Out of Control," each vocal part is clearly distinguishable with stunning clarity. In contrast to the close vocals centered around Mick, the surrounding cheers are absent, further highlighting Mick's closeness. The recording is so close that it almost makes you wonder, "Is this an in-ear recording?" Indeed, even more than five years after the live performance, this level of sound quality makes it seem inevitable that it should be released. The source material used for the previously released "SANTA CLARA 2019" captured Mick's vocals in a poorly defined manner, as if coming from a loudspeaker, and this was adjusted to achieve the desired effect. In contrast, the difference in the clarity and closeness of the vocals on this recording is stark. As this was the final day of the tour, the performance was one that had been well-received since its inception. From the early part of the show, "Let's Spend the Night Together," Mick and Keith shared a microphone, and during the acoustic corner of "Let It Bleed," Mick and Keith's one-mic singing style, reminiscent of their past, finally returned, delighting fans. Not only that, but listening again, the performance of the two acoustic corner songs seems truly idyllic and heartwarming. And the middle break of "Midnight Rambler," which doesn't explode with excitement but instead takes on a bluesy tone, is a development that, looking back, seems nostalgic, only Charlie could pull off. Mick's performance stood out throughout the day, and this performance is even more pronounced when paired with the incredibly crisp recording. It's a reminder that this was a masterpiece from the "NO FILTER TOUR" tour. Although it is a recent tour sound source that has suddenly appeared after more than five years have passed, this quality is shocking!
