From the 1994 "Voodoo Lounge" North American tour, a complete high-quality audience recording of the October 28th live performance, the first day of four consecutive performances in Oakland. This is a sound source that can be obtained from an internet download site, but even if you make it into a CD as is, the sound is so on and high quality that there would be no problem, and the entire live performance is recorded. As you know, the Halloween concert on October 31st, the fourth and final day of the 1994 Oakland performance, featured a 2 hour and 16 minute long professional shot video of screen shots, and the audio was also stereo. Since it was distributed as a soundboard recording, the other three Auckland performances continued to be unbooted as press CDs. The second day on the 29th is not a very good recording, but the first day on the 28th is truly exceptional as an audience recording at that time! The sound is relatively close, yet has a mild, clear and warm feel, making it a very high quality sound. The sound stability is quite good, the sense of separation is good, and the tape generator seems to be young, so you can listen very comfortably from beginning to end. Honestly, I think it's more stress-free and enjoyable to listen to these recordings at full blast than to listen to a slightly deteriorated sound board. There are no surprising songs, but Wild Horses is played as a daily number (only on this day in Auckland). It was the first day of the 4 consecutive Auckland performances of the "Voodoo Lounge" tour, where gorgeous live performances were held night after night, and it was clear from the bright performance and sound that the members and band must have been in great spirits.
