The main stage of the movie "LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER" was the Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. Two types of mixes of the multi-track recording of this day have now leaked. The first is the sound source of "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED" released by VGP in 1997 as a rough mix made for the movie. The other is a rough mix for radio broadcast distributed from the "CONCERT VAULT" site, with "TEMPE 1981" currently being the best title. The latter is particularly popular now because of its excellent sound quality, but the impact of "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED" when it was released in 1997 was huge. Unlike the favorable circumstances of recent years, it was extremely rare for a rough mix of a multi-track recording to leak, so the impact was huge. It caused a huge sensation. However, there were some shortcomings as with a leaked sound source, and it was a pity that the last two songs were not included. It is also true that the hiss that occurred after several cassette dubbings was reduced by noise reduction, resulting in an unnatural sound. Nevertheless, the impact of the multi-track leak made it a bestseller. However, a shocking upgrade of the rough mix for this film appeared quietly in 2019. The original source was a recording owned by Arthur Collins, who served as vice president of Rolling Stones Records. However, when it appeared in 2019, it seemed that the radio recordings had already taken over, and from the following year, the impact of the huge amount of studio recordings of the Stones that he owned was so great that it ended up being overlooked. In fact, the sound quality of the outtakes related to "Women" and "Undercover" that Collins owned was excellent (although some of the "Tattooed Man" ones were not so great), and it is still fresh in my memory that the quality was so high that it wiped out the items that had been circulating for many years. The Tempe 1981 that he owned was a rough mix for the film. It was surprising that this also boasted an overwhelming improvement in sound quality. The sound quality itself is much higher than the old VGP version, and the last two songs are included. Yes, you can listen to the sound source and mix of "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED" all the way to the end! And with a significant improvement in sound quality. Of course, there are no problems such as the sound shifting to the right in "Shattered" or skipping in "Just My Imagination". The sound quality and condition are on a completely different level. Therefore, the chaos of Mick's simple mistake in "Let It Bleed" that makes the performance messed up is also noticeable... lol. This is a leaked multi-track that has achieved such an overwhelming improvement in sound quality, but for this release, "GRAF ZEPPELIN" thoroughly cleaned the original sound source. Not only has the slight pitch rise that seems to have occurred when it was dropped from the original reel to Collins' cassette been adjusted, but the cuts between some songs, including "Miss You" and "Honky Tonk Women", have been thoroughly compensated for using the "TEMPE 1981" sound source and other sources. On the contrary, the sound quality of this recording is so high that it even surpasses the sound quality of "TEMPE 1981," which seemed to be of such high quality, so with the supervision of "GRAF ZEPPELIN," it has finally been promoted to a normal live album, and even a complete live album of Sun Devil Stadium, which was the setting for the movie. As with the simultaneously released "L.A. FORUM 1975 5TH NIGHT: MIKE MILLARD MASTER TAPES" recorded by Mike Millard, there must be many enthusiasts who have listened to this leaked multi-track many times. Have a great weekend with the release of these two titles: the classic of the best audience in 1975 and the shocking upper version of the leaked multi-track in 1981! This is the definitive remaster of the version called "Ruff Mixes" from the sound source released in collaboration between JEMS and Captain Acid a few years ago! There is no high-frequency down-down to begin with, and you can enjoy a more vivid and thick sound than the existing versions such as Wolfgang! The pitch has been corrected, and overlapping recordings between songs have been restored without cuts and gaps have been filled in, making this the longest recording ever! There is a momentary cut in the sound at the beginning of Little T & A, but this is due to the channel audio of the left and right audience microphones being turned off when the guitar comes in.
