Recorded from the New Source broadcast sound source of the first day of the Australian tour held from February to early March 1966. The 1st show of the Sydney performance on February 18th was broadcast by the local FM station "2UW" (the broadcast date is February 22nd). Considering the times, it's a good monaural soundboard that you can listen to well. It is a standard sound source of this period that has been familiar from the past, including VGP "Reelin' And Rockin'", but this take is a new edition that fans must listen to, which has been posted online with detailed records of acquisition routes and historical information. . This is great. At the beginning, the Stones' arrival report at Sydney Airport on February 16th, which has not yet been recorded, and valuable member interviews are included. The interviewer is radio DJ Ward Austin, who serves as the opening host for the concert. Despite the cut-in and out content, the sound quality is good enough. It's easy to listen to and has a great atmosphere. It starts lightly with the intro of "Fabulous Rolling Stones!", sound check sound, and "Mercy Mercy", but the original first song is probably "The Last Time". This cassette master was obtained in 1972, six years after the broadcast, and the tape contains two types of airport reports and a live performance, and it seems that they have uploaded it as is this time. Our store adjusted the localization of the first track and made some adjustments to make it easier to listen to, but it is a historical sound source, and the sound image and texture, including freshness, are already good (= listenable), so of course I don't do excessive equalization. At the ending of Get Off Of My Cloud, sound loss due to tape flip is confirmed, but other than that there are no problems. In any case, this is a noteworthy work of the sound source broadcast on the first day of Sydney, which is a must-have for fans who have a different route from the previous releases.
