The European leg for 2023 has also been announced, and "This Is Not A Drill" has been decided to be a full-scale world tour. The latest live album is here. This work is recorded in Kansas City on September 3, 2022. It is a superb audience recording that vacuum-packs the whole story. Initially, Roger Waters said, "We will gig in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. That's it. We can't go around the world, and we don't want to," but fortunately that was overturned. Let's check the latest schedule again to find out the situation of "This Is Not A Drill". 2022 June 21: Late Show With Stephen Colbert appearance July 2: Dress rehearsal July 6 "PITTSBURGH 2022" July 8-August 31: North America (23 performances) September 3: Kansas City performance ←★This work★ September 6-17: North America (6 performances) >>Now<< September 20-October 15: North America (12 performances) ●2023 March 21-April 1: Europe #1 (7 performances) April 21-29: Europe #2 (4 performances) May 24: Prague performance This is the overall picture of "This Is Not A Drill" that has been announced so far. 12 performances have been announced for next year's European leg, but if you look closely, you will see that there is (unnaturally) about three weeks off before and after "Europe #2". There are rumors that more additions are planned.... I'm going back to this year, as the first report of the tour will be released as a live album "PITTSBURGH 2022" on the first day. This work is the second in two months. This work is a superb sound worth waiting for. The previous work "PITTSBURGH 2022" was also the highest grade, but the type is slightly different. While the previous work was a type that overwhelmed with the dynamism of the sound, this work has a wonderful transparency of air and vividness of detail. The clear core penetrates the center of the clear space with a strong outline, and the vividness is as clear as a laser beam. On the other hand, it is natural and not sharp enough to pierce your ears. It also absorbs the chorus that boils up with Floyd numbers, and there is no mistake in the tone with a sound board. However, the ease of listening to the performance sound and the subtlety of the ensemble that does not mix even when intertwined are the wonderfulness of FM broadcasting class. The clear sound depicts the full show of "This Is Not A Drill", which Roger calls "the first farewell tour". The set is fixed, but it is still the second edition, so let's organize it again. Part 1: The Wall #1: Comfortably Numb/The Happiest Days Of Our Lives/Another Brick In The Wall Part 2/3: Solo: The Powers That Be/The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range/The Bar (★)/Flame/Animals: Have A Cigar/Wish You Were Here/Shine On You Crazy Diamond (parts VI-VII)/Sheep Part 2: The Wall #2: In The Flesh/Run Like Hell/Is This The Life We Really Want?: Deja Vu/Is This The Life We Really Want?/Madness (B-side): Money/Us And Them/Any Colour You Like/Brain Damage/Eclipse/Other: Two Suns In The Sunset/The Bar (reprise) (★)/Outside The Wall *Note: The ★ marks are unreleased new songs. ...And so on. The show is in two parts: Part 1 = DISC 1 / Part 2 = DISC 2. The usual set arrangement is changed for each album, but the above song order is the same. The show itself is divided into sections for each album, and in the second part, the B-side of "Madness" is also reproduced. The selection includes plenty of great songs that everyone will enjoy, and rare songs are also played in between. "Outside The Wall", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (parts VI-IX)", and "The Powers That Be" have not been played for about 20 years, and "This Is Not A Drill" from "Two Suns In The Sunset" from "Final Cut" is the first time it is performed on stage. New songs "The Bar" and "The Bar (reprise)" are also performed. Although the set has not yet been replaced, "This Is Not A Drill" has been used and has been used many times. This is a live album where you can experience the full show with a clear sound that will wake you up. It took a while for the famous recording of "This is it!" to appear, but this latest report is well worth it. The best audience recording of the "September 3, 2022 Kansas City Performance". The clear core penetrates the center of the clear and sunny space with a strong edge, and the vividness is as clear as a laser beam. On the other hand, it is natural and not sharp enough to pierce your ears. With a clear sound that will make your heart skip a beat, you can experience the full show of the latest "This Is Not A Drill", which Roger calls "the first farewell tour".
