Rod's 15th album "Out Of Order", released in May 1988, was a big hit, producing four hit singles: Lost In You, Forever Young, My Heart Can't Tell You No, and Crazy About Her. It was a commercial success. From the tour that took place mainly in North America from July 1988 to August 1989, the final performance in Boston on August 5th is completely recorded with the highest level of ultra-high quality audience recording. It is recorded with a clear and punchy sound that is rare for an audience seat recording at that time, and it is the best one that can be considered the definitive version of the tour even though it is the first appearance. The taper is Steve Hopkins, who has made many wonderful recordings since the 70's in Boston (famous for Pink Floyd and Jeff Beck in the 70's), and the quality is as high as his masterpiece recording version on this edition. You can enjoy the entire show with the sound. The stability and separation of the sound is excellent, and you can enjoy Rod's emotional and powerful singing voice and the band's gorgeous, groove-filled performance with the best sound. The chorus from the audience that can be heard on the hit song is also recorded with great atmosphere, and fans will enjoy repeating this wonderful take over and over again! The content is perfect except for the missing intro of You Wear It Well due to the tape change. Everything was recorded with an ideal texture, but Rod's vocals, which were recorded with a thick and outstanding sound, and Tony Block's tight drum sound were especially wonderful, and the band ensemble captured it so attractively.
