Rod Stewart/CA,USA 1991 Mike Millard Master Tapes

This 1 hour 44 minute recording of the September 13th Costa Mesa, California performance from the 1991 US tour accompanying the release of "VAGABOND HEART" was taken from the master audience tape owned by the legendary taper Mike Millard, which was recently unearthed for the first time. First of all, the original master of the Millard tape, which has been released one after another in recent years, is the world premiere of this sound source released on the web this time, and due to the evolution of the recording equipment used, it is of course a wonderful sound quality that does not disgrace the name of the Millard master. Although the live performance was somewhat outdated due to the heavy use of synths seen in many artists at that time, the R&B corner starting with "Sweet Soul Music" in the middle of the live performance changed to a dark rhythm and sound that seemed to dispel such a sound, and it changed completely into an R&B show when the band played "Time Is Tight" by Booker T & the MG's during Rod's break. The second half of the concert will feature a career summary ranging from classics like "Reason To Believe" to "The Motown Song" from "VAGABOND HEART."
