A superb professional shot of a birthday live show celebrating Robin's 60th birthday has been decided to be released. This work contains the "March 9, 2005 Bonn (Germany) performance". It is a performance at the music festival "CROSSROADS FESTIVAL" that started in 2003. Although it has a similar name to the famous "CROSSROADS GUITAR FESTIVAL" by Eric Clapton, it is a completely different festival that is held in Bonn for a few days every spring and autumn. To summarize the schedule briefly... ・March 8-12: 5 performances ←★here★ ・October 18-21: 4 performances ... and so on. Two artists appeared per day, and our Robin appeared on the second day with THE JOHN BUTLER TRIO. This show was also made into a DVD, and was said to be "Robin's first DVD work!" at the time. However, that was more than 10 years ago and has long since gone out of print. Currently, used copies are traded at a premium price. The quality of this work is a perfect professional shot. To be honest, the 2006 DVD release was a modest release that made me wonder if it was really official, but the image quality and camera work are of superb quality worthy of being "official", and the sound quality and mix are ironclad professional work. It is probably one of the best videos ever to witness a "moving Robin". The quality depicts a rich blues rock that he reached at the age of 60. Blues rock that took the world by storm as the "reincarnation of Jimi Hendrix", tried to get away from its influence for a while, and then returned again. The phrases that know the Stratocaster well are exquisite, and the "ringing" is superb. While playing plenty of the representative songs of the past, he also performed 21st century works such as "LIVING OUT OF TIME" and "GO MY WAY". The blues breathes in each song, and the flavor comes from the life that has been around it, and the blues juice overflows regardless of whether it is the first time you hear the song. Even so, it is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. There have been many deaths that have shaken the rock world recently, but that is also the fact that "rock" has gained years. Although it is a path that the senior genre, blues, has already walked, there is not the sadness of losing youth, but the weight and flavor of having accumulated life. The image of Robin projected in this work can be said to be the rock version of that. He is so captivating with his rich sound and phrases that even the word "vigorous" is disrespectful. In the blues world, it is often said that "40s and 50s are still young," but rock is reaching that state. Rock has accumulated that much history and has the depth to withstand that weight. I would like fans, as well as those who are not so much, to see it. I want people to know the "potential of rock." This release is filled with such a strong desire. The future of the "Rock" we love, its depth. Live at the Rockpalast Crossroads Festival, Bonn, Germany 9th March 2005 1. Introduction 2. Too Rolling Stoned 3. Sweet Angel 4. What's Your Name 5.
