1988 was the year of thaw, when the ban on ZEP numbers was lifted, they performed with Jimmy Page, and even reunited at Atlantic Records' 40th anniversary event. A treasured professional shot for such an era has been decided to be released. This film was filmed on October 3, 1988 in Dallas. This is a professional shot taken at a rehearsal held by MTV for the “NON STOP GO tour”. The content is about 2 hours long, consisting of ``52 minutes of rehearsal footage + 68 minutes of interviews,'' but it is not a complete program. It was unearthed from the large amount of reels that MTV was supplementing, and it is raw material footage that was shot continuously. This video itself has been known for a long time, but this work is the latest and highest version. This master was discovered by the prestigious Krw_co this year, and was digitized from the 1st generation VHS cassette that was dubbed directly from MTV's original master. Although the content is the same as the previous version, the image quality has been significantly improved. The best thing about it is its natural texture and clarity. Previously, the master disguised dubbing deterioration with highlights, and there were many cases where details were crushed, but this work is completely different. I don't know if it's completely unprocessed, but just by looking at it, I can't see any signs of processing. If you have experienced this video, you know that there are many close-ups of bassist Charlie Jones, but in this work you can even see his arm hair, which was crushed in the previous master. The precious rehearsal scene is depicted with such fresh visual beauty. I thought it was before the tour because it was just rehearsal, but that's actually not the case. In order to understand the circumstances around that, let's look back at the schedule at that time. 1987, November 30: Universal City performance, December 17 + 30: UK #1 (2 performances) 1988, January 23 - February 3: UK #2 (4 performances) (February 29) "NOW AND ZEN" released on March 16th - April 17th: UK #3 (17 performances) - May 5th - 14th: North America #1a (6 performances) "May 14th: LED ZEPPELIN Reunion》 ・May 15th - July 29th: North America #1b (45 performances) ・September 23rd + 24th: Northern Ireland (2 performances)《October 3rd: Rehearsal》 ←★Here★・October 5th - December 31st: North America #2 (38 performances) This is the whole picture of the “NON STOP GO tour”. The tour itself started a long time ago, and this work was done for the final album "North America #2". That's why the ensemble has already been completed, and the performance is just like a real performance. Plant also makes an appearance as a site supervisor, giving instructions to the band and lighting, but this is only for final confirmation. And the important thing is the song being played. The reason why we are rehearsing at this point is probably due to changes in the set. From the beginning of the tour, the release of songs such as "Misty Mountain Hop", "Trampled Under Foot", and "Black Country Woman" became a hot topic, but with "North America #2" after ZEP's reunion, the number of released songs expanded at once. “In The Light” and “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” will also be played. In particular, “Going To California” feels like a classic on Plant’s solo stage, but it is exactly here that the ban has been lifted. This work depicts a plant working hard to make such preparations. Also, the subsequent interviews with all the members are interesting. Although there are no subtitles for the leaked professional shots, he talks about his enthusiasm and memories from the tour so far. Charlie and drummer Chris Blackwell mentioned the Hammersmith performance where Jimmy Page jumped in, and talked with the interviewer, saying, ``I'm sure it'll be a bootleg.'' A rehearsal that is neither a studio work nor a concert stage. It's a professional shot that doesn't show on the outside, but you can definitely get a glimpse of the professional plant at work.
