Marco Moir, who seems to have firmly established himself as the maestro of Zeppelin's solo recordings of the 1980s, made his name known among Zeppelin enthusiasts with his "L.A. FORUM 1985" and "COSTA MESA 1985," recordings of The Firm's March 1985 US tour with the band's superb audience. Three months later, Robert Plant also toured the US with his new album, "SHAKEN 'N' STIRRED." Having already toured the US for the first time since Zeppelin's breakup in 1983, his second US tour in 1985 was expected to be filled with a dignified atmosphere and excitement. However, the Zeppelin reunion at Live Aid, which took place in the middle of the tour, completely distracted the public's attention. As a result, no bootleg LPs from the '85 tour were released in real time. Because of this, this tour has become a veiled mystery for enthusiasts, but thankfully, More managed to record his tour as well. Moreover, his first attempt was again at the LA Forum. Speaking of this day, the release of the elusive Kinney recording "L.A. FORUM 1985" still freshly recorded, eliciting enthusiasts' ecstasy. However, due to circumstances at the time, that Kinney recording also failed to materialize, resulting in a surprising discovery that had lain dormant for many years. However, this recording offers a wonderfully clear stereo audience that easily surpasses even the Kinney-excavated sound source. While the opening sound image is somewhat distant due to the initial recording position, More's immediate forward thrust transforms the recording from "Pledge Pin" into a superb recording with a clear, close sound image. The delicate sound quality of the unreleased Kinney recording "L.A. FORUM 1985" was also excellent, but More, a master of Zeppelin's solo recordings in the 1980s, delivers undeniably excellent sound quality. What's more, Plant's excitement was high, as this was his second return to the LA Forum since Zep disbanded in 1983. The highlight was when he declared, "Badge Holders Only Part 2!" immediately after finishing "Pink and Black" early in the show. This scene, heard on the Kinney recording, conveys the special feelings that not only Jimmy but also Plant has for the LA Forum. Furthermore, Plant and the band's high energy throughout the show stood out. The timing was also impressive, as it was only a month after the release of "SHAKEN 'N' STIRRED," and it was only natural that they would be fired up to perform at the LA Forum. This audience album vividly conveys the passionate performance, thanks to More's exceptional audience. The often-overlooked 1985 "SHAKEN 'N' STIRRED" tour explodes at the LA Forum with the superb Marco More recording!
