Robert Plant performed a club gig in Wales in 1985, following the great reception of his oldies cover EP under the name Honey Drippers the previous year. At the time, he was in the final stages of production of his album "SHAKEN AND STIRRED", but he performed a one-night oldies gig to take a breather from his band members and to celebrate the success of his unexpected EP. The footage was captured on a camera installed in a live house and was leaked in recent years. Of course, the sound was mono, but it was a proper soundboard. And although it was a one-camera professional shot, the venue was small, so it captured not only Plant's but also the expressions of each band member perfectly. As you can see from the video, this was clearly a gig of oldies covers as a way to take a breather, so they didn't rehearse in advance and just played the songs they knew. As proof of this, the standard "Georgia (On My Mind)" had an incident where the performance didn't come together and they had to start over. Plant looks really happy to be able to sing his favorite songs in a relaxed and carefree manner in a club. The footage of him as a singer, not as ZEP or a solo artist, captured in a professional shot, such as being served beer by the audience or singing while smoking a cigarette, is not only a series of highlights, but the fact that such footage has been preserved is very valuable. The members other than Plant are also playing relaxed and seem to be having a lot of fun, and the band members, such as the late Richie Hayward of Little Feat, who was the regular drummer of Plant's band at the time, seem to be having a lot of fun. Although it is a one-camera video, the close-up of his facial expression is unique to a live house. Currently, there is a video on the Internet that is a long version, although the image quality is inferior to the version recorded here, but it has problems not only with the image quality but also with the sound being out of sync with the image, and although the final part of the live performance was not recorded, this one is much easier to see, so we chose it. This is a literally precious video that captured Plant, who was in the midst of his solo career, singing oldies with a fun look on his face from start to finish.
