The 2024 Japan tour, which was their second visit to Japan following the previous year, will be only two days at the Tokyo Dome on May 18th and 20th. The first day's performance was recorded in full using a multi-stereo IEM matrix, and the live performance on that day was also recorded in a multi-camera version with a DVD edition. First, the stereo IEM sources that each of the four members used on stage, each with a different mix balance, were mixed in an exquisite balance to create a multi-IEM matrix, and then the digital audience source was stereo-mixed with an exquisite combination to faithfully reproduce the day's performance with a hybrid sound that conveys the atmosphere of the Tokyo Dome to the fullest. The digital camera footage was edited into a multi-angle specification using the latest equipment, with multiple good shots capturing the entire stage from a very close distance, and some parts can be viewed with a professional shot feeling, and the audio part is synchronized with the multi-IEM matrix source of the CD, so the quality, including the audio part, is a world apart from fragmented videos on YouTube and the like. And while basically based on the previous year's set list, the first day opened with "Can't Stop", and included "Whatchu Thinkin'", "These Are The Ways", "I Could Have Lied", and "Tell Me Baby" from "Unlimited Love", which were not included in the previous Japan performance, and "Kooks", sung solo by Frusciante, who reappeared in the encore, was a cover of David Bowie, and there were shift changes everywhere. And of course, until the big excitement of "Give It Away" ended, the performance was reproduced with a different dimension of sound quality, and the set was significantly different from the second day, so fans will need a limited edition memorial item for both days.
