The long-awaited 2023 Japan tour was held only twice, in Tokyo and Osaka, and this commemorative item was recorded in full on 2 CDs at the Tokyo Dome on February 19th using a multi-stereo IEM matrix. First, the multi-IEM matrix source was a mix of the line source from the uncompressed multi-ear monitor source used by the four members on stage and the digital audience master. By mixing the exquisite audience sources in a stereo mix, Anthony's vocals as well as the details of each part are perfectly separated, and the performance of the day is reproduced in official quality with an overwhelming dynamic range. The CD released earlier by the same label has been demixed and remastered using the latest equipment, and the sound exceeds the official version, which can be said to be nothing better. The dome performance, which was the first in about 16 years, was a huge success with a completely sold-out performance due to John's return, and the live started with an improvisation by the familiar three members. The concert started with John's intense solo, and Anthony appeared on stage to start the first song, "Can't Stop," and the audience was already singing along. After that, they alternated between old and new numbers, interweaving songs from the previous year's release, "Unlimited Love," and "Return of the Dream Canteen." Then, in Japan, they started with "Snow (Hey-Oh)," which is also known as the theme song for a movie, and then they started a thrilling improvisation. John's emotional guitar, who had returned, was also wonderful here. The highlight was the following song, "Eddie," dedicated to Edward Van Halen. It started with a lonely intro by John and Flea, and the guitar solo in the second half is a must-listen. The main part ended with a big chorus of "By the Way", and for the encore, with the entire dome lit up with smartphone lights, they performed "Under the Bridge", and for the last song, "Give It Away", the three members gathered in the center of the stage and jumped out at Chad's drum count, and the audience in the dome raised their fists high at the members who were going wild on stage. At the end, everyone sang together in a big chorus for a grand finale. Although the performance was filmed and broadcast on TV, the real and perfect sound here was different from those.
