Recorded on the first day of the Cardiff performance on September 14th, the 6th performance of the 12-performance UK tour accompanying the "BENT OUT OF SHAPE" album in 1983, with the highest level of ultra-high quality stereo sound board. This sound source, which captures Rainbow's live performance during this period with the highest level of line recording, is familiar to fans as it represents Rainbow's last tour in the 1980s, just like the recently released final performance at Budokan in March 1984. A must-have item. This edition contains remastered takes that are considered the best among the standard sound sources. As with previous releases, it is presumed that the original was released on an analog version, but the freshness and clarity of the sound is still amazing. Of course, the sound is pure high quality without any forced increase in sound pressure or equalization that hurts the ears. The sound is very good, from the clarity and depth to the high-quality sound localization and balance, and it is a very good master that can be used as an official CD as it is. All four divided points are connected with careful crossfades, so you have the advantage of being able to listen to them all at once without cuts. On the "BENT OUT OF SHAPE" tour held from 1983 to 1984, the band's performance was more cohesive than on the previous year's "STRAIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES" tour, and I got the impression that Richie was playing more carefully than on the previous year's tour. Because of this, the content is highly rated by fans. RAINBOW's live performances during this period are worth listening to from beginning to end, as they deliver sophisticated performances to the sharp and lively beats of newly joined drummer Chuck Bergie. Fool For The Night, which is suddenly played in the fourth song, is fresh, and I Surrender of this day, where Richie's solo that plays aggressively and boldly, is the best. The interaction with Chuck in the guitar solo in the second half of Difficult To Cure is wonderful and you can listen to the tension-filled play. Death Alley Driver (the end of the main set on the Japan tour) was performed in the middle of the show, followed by Catch The Rainbow and the powerful Lazy, followed by the new song Drinking With The Devil, which was not heard on the Japan tour. It has become a wonderful listening place. Before Stranded, Stargazer is played for 1 minute and 50 seconds as a prelude, with Chuck's sharp original drum intro and Joe's vocals struggling with a number that is completely out of tune with his own key. It can be said to be a very valuable take. Stranded is the best performance by a band that rides the solid beat of Chuck and listens to the sharp play. On this day, the entire band played Rule Britannia as the intro to All Night Long. The excitement and roar of the audience during this part was amazing! In the last Long Live Rock 'n' Roll, which incorporates Hey Joe in the middle, there is no beep sound due to censorship at the time of broadcast, which was at 4 minutes and 30 seconds of the same song. Furthermore, it is the definitive version that carefully removes the analog noise that was found on all previously released records. The highest quality edition, a must-have for fans, is happily re-released with a delightful title! Live at St. David's Hall, Cardiff, UK 14th September 1983 STEREO SBD(UPGRADED) Disc 1 1.
