Live in Japan during the Graham Bonnet era, which was even said to be "comparable to DEEP PURPLE's first visit to Japan". Another miraculous record is now available. This work contains the "May 13, 1980: Osaka Festival Hall" performance. It is a special audience recording by the original master brought by a unique route. The Graham era RAINBOW's visit to Japan was the only one. Our shop archives all the performances with many famous records, and this week the new highest peak board "BUDOKAN 1980 FINAL NIGHT" will also be released at the same time. Let's organize the collection by schedule here.・May 8th: Nippon Budokan "FACING GRAHAM" ・May 9th: Nippon Budokan "DEFINITIVE BUDOKAN 1980 2ND NIGHT" 《2 days off》 ・May 12th: Nippon Budokan "BUDOKAN 1980 FINAL NIGHT" ・May 13th: Osaka Festival Hall 【This work】 ・May 14th: Osaka Festival Hall "THE HIDDEN FORTRESS" ・May 15th: Osaka Festival Hall "THE HIDDEN FORTRESS" ※Only representative albums on each day. All 6 performances. The reason why maniacs talk about PURPLE's first visit to Japan is because of its intense performance. However, the venue is probably related to that deep psychology. It was the same "Nippon Budokan" and "Osaka Festival Hall" as in 1972. Among them, the one that is particularly said to be "miracle" is the four consecutive days from "May 12th" to "May 15th" on the final day of the Budokan. This work is the first day in Osaka, and the second day of the "four days of miracles". Speaking of the recording of this day, the definitive 6-disc Osaka complete collection "DEFINITVE HIDDEN FORTRESS" is famous, but this work is a completely different recording. And the quality that is of concern is the wonderful audience sound with a rich sense of realism. It does not exceed "DEFINITVE HIDDEN FORTRESS", but it is not a kind of explosion or roar (never!). Although it feels a little more distant than the clear and on "DEFINITVE HIDDEN FORTRESS" master, the musical tones / singing voices that reach straight are robust and powerful. You can fully enjoy the flawless performance of the five star players. On top of that, this work also has a wonderful sense of realism. It is a type of recording where there are no applause / cheers that are strangely close, and the musical tones and singing voices overwhelm everything, but when it comes to the intervals between songs, it changes completely. The cheers that rise up are far away, but they become big waves with a sense of scale that go back and forth through the Osaka Festival Hall. For example, "Since You Been Gone". When Richie plays mischievously between songs, a big wave of cheers occurs, and when they exchange classical phrases with Don, the big wave explodes as if hitting the rocks of Toei Movie. Then the scattered cheers are collected again into orderly clapping, and they surge again as big waves, hitting the rocks as if they are at the mercy of Greensleeves' phrases. Again, this is not a recording that is plagued by close-up talking or screaming. Despite this, the audience's surprise and joy and the exchange between RAINBOW can be felt as real and clear as ever. There are countless records of live performances that are very enthusiastic, but it is rare to have a live album where the performers and the large audience are united to this extent. The audience's concentration is focused on every trivial phrase and every beat that fills the venue, and they immediately respond with a tremendous response. And the band enjoys the reaction, pushing back with powerful and beautiful hard rock... May 12-15, 1980, including this work, is also called the "four days of miracles", but it is not just because "Graham RAINBOW" is in top form. It is because there was an audience that was crazy about chasing and pushing back that top form down to the smallest detail. The scene where the "miracle" became a "miracle". This work is proof of that sound. Everything is a great performance, including "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?", which was set in from the last day of the Nippon Budokan. There were a few tape change cuts in a few places, but they were complemented by the finest master of "DEFINITVE HIDDEN FORTRESS" and the full show was recorded. A masterpiece of a live album that completely packages all of the miracle scene, without even leaving 10 seconds of member introductions that were cut even in "DEFINITVE HIDDEN FORTRESS". A new excavation that you should definitely enjoy for those who can't forget "May 1980". Live at Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan 13th May 1980 TRULY AMAZING SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 (44:26) 1.
