The first visit to Japan of the RAINBOW legend who delivered the "extreme British hard rock". Introducing the ultimate edition, a collection of the finest soundboard masters left over from the monumental tour in the history of Japanese Western music. This work includes two performances in Osaka for the first time in Japan. This is a 2-disc set that permanently preserves the three types of soundboards born from "December 8th + 9th, 1976: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall" in the highest quality. Speaking of the soundboard that came to Japan for the first time, there are various things such as nostalgic FM broadcasting, the official SBD of "ON STAGE" deluxe edition, and "Cozy Tapes". Although it may be too late for veteran collectors, this work is also a super definitive board that is perfect for beginners, so let's start with "What is the sound board for the first visit to Japan?"・December 2nd: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium ・December 5th: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall ・December 7th: Nagoya City Public Hall ・December 8th: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall ←★FM broadcast (A) ・December 9th : Osaka Welfare Pension Hall ← *FM Broadcast (B) / Cozy Tape (C) ・December 10th: Kyoto Kaikan ・December 13th: Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium ・December 14th: Hiroshima City Public Hall ・December 16th Sunday: Nippon Budokan (daytime session) / December 16th: Nippon Budokan (evening session) ← *Official Dera Eddy/Cozy Tape and more, 10 performances in total. The soundboards remained for the three performances, "Osaka 2nd performance + Nippon Budokan (last night)", and this work is the best possible soundboard (A, B, C) of "Osaka 2nd performance" (Just to be sure, the deluxe edition of the official "ON STAGE" also includes a soundboard with the credit "December 9th"). , the actual content is "December 16th"). Now, let's introduce each of the three types of soundboards. [DISC 1: Re-transfer & expanded version of Cozy Tape Actual (C)] First up is a soundboard recording discovered from a cassette belonging to the late Cozy Powell. Speaking of Osaka Sound Board, for a long time only FM broadcasting was known, but “HERITAGE” was discovered more than 10 years ago, which completely changed that situation. It was discovered as one of the so-called "cozy tapes" and includes "Sixteenth Century Greensleeves" and "Catch The Rainbow", which were only in the first half of the show but were not on FM broadcast. It was a brilliant and superb soundboard with a vivid different mix of the same songs as the FM broadcast. Disc 1 of this work is an expanded version that has been newly digitized from the actual “Cozy Tape” and supplemented with the finest audience recording. At this point, you may be thinking, "Huh? Is it the same as HERITAGE?", but it's a remake of the same concept with much more precision. In other words, if we were to express it in an official way, it could be called "2021 REMIX." In fact, its accuracy and sound are on a whole other level. First of all, it is a retransfer from “Cozy Tape”, but this is already wonderfully dynamic! This time, we focused on the sound itself that was absorbed by the actual cassette, so it has an analog-like feel, but it still has a freshness and fine detail that overwhelms the previous version. As part of the post-digitization process, we made strict adjustments to the pitch and phase, but we didn't do anything to increase the sound pressure or suppress hiss, so the sound is as natural as possible. Those who have loved ``HERITAGE'' and other previously released groups will be surprised to find out that ``such a good sound was absorbed into the real tape.'' And, compensation by audience recording is also started from scratch. Rather than reproducing the complete form of the show, only the gaps between songs and the final part of the medley that were cut in the soundboard recording were supplemented. While placing the utmost importance on the concept of ``listening to the soundboard'', we have created a music album that does not have the feeling of being cut off. And its accuracy is the highest ever. Although the sound source used is the same, the approximately 5 second gap in the audience part on the previous version has been completely repaired. Of course, the tone and stereo feel are very similar to the sound board part, and the result is a seamless and beautiful live album that eliminates any sense of discomfort as much as possible. [DISC 2: The ultimate master of FM broadcasting (A + B)] The replacement DISC 2 is a combination of two types of FM broadcasting sound boards. This is also a concept that has been around for a long time, but the point this time is that we are using the ``highest peak update master of new excavation''. “ROCK ON” is known as the best version, but the one used in this work is the master provided later. The quality is certainly the best ever. The "December 8th" version is a little higher than "ROCK ON," but the "December 9th" version is clearly up. Another point is the composition. Since it was originally two FM broadcasts, there were parts such as the opening/ending of the program, comments from a famous DJ, and parts that played studio albums, but this time we were focused on the "good sound of the new master", and such parts were Issa deleted. The concept is a ``live album,'' and the order of the songs is close to that of an actual concert so that you can fully enjoy the splendor of the performance sounds. DISC 1 is a re-transfer from the original "Cozy Tape" using modern technology, and DISC 2 is an FM album that has been updated to its highest peak with a newly discovered master. This is a 2-disc set containing the soundboard recording born from "first visit to Osaka" in top quality. This is an exceptional piece of RAINBOW's first visit to Japan, a monumental piece in the history of Japanese Western music. A 2-disc set that compiles three types of soundboard recordings from "December 8 + 9, 1976: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall." DISC 1 is a retransfer of the long soundboard of “December 9th” from Cozy Tape. Audience supplementation has also been redone, and the longest and highest quality ever has been updated. DISC 2 compiles the FM broadcast soundboard of “December 8th and 9th”. Permanently preserves a new excavated master that is even higher quality than “ROCK ON”, which was the best version of the previous version. This is a new masterpiece of cultural heritage level that covers all of the ``Osaka Soundboard's first visit to Japan'' in top quality.
