From the US tour accompanying the release of the 1976 album "Rising", a complete recording of the Beacon Theater performance in New York on June 17th with the highest quality sound. The sound quality is incomparably better than the previously released version, and it is a must-listen sound source that makes you keenly aware of the splendor of master quality. Today's "Catch The Rainbow", which is played with a tight content, is a masterpiece. "Man On The Silver Mountain" is a version that does not include "Blues" or "Starstruck" yet. The biggest listening point is the two big songs in the second half that are played in a medley style, "Stargazer" and "A Light In The Black", and it is no exaggeration to say that this powerful performance is a must-hear for all fans. "Stargazer" has that Middle Eastern riff, and Tony's keyboard is ringing louder than I've ever heard, but Richie's devilish guitar solo in the second half is incredibly powerful. "A Light In The Black", which is played with an outstanding sense of speed, also allows you to enjoy the best performance by all members. Cozy's drum solo is also recorded with the best sound quality, and the unconventional play is really wonderful, and it can be declared to be the strongest take. Also, the encore of this day, "Do You Close Your Eyes", is said to be the first time Richie performed a guitar crash on the Rainbow stage. Overall, Richie's guitar sound is recorded very clearly, making it a perfect listen. Also included as a bonus track is a rare live take of "If You Don't Like Rock'N Roll" from the 1975 US tour, also in superb sound quality.
