This is a video compilation that received great acclaim in previous releases and has become one of RAINBOW's standard collector's items. This is a must-see for RAINBOW fans, covering 45 minutes of master quality footage of four types of 8mm film taken by fans during their first and second visits to Japan! In the Japan tour that RAINBOW conducted twice when Ronnie James Dio was enrolled, almost all the live performances are left as sound sources, and you can enjoy excellent performances with high quality. In particular, the final performance at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, which marked the finale of both visits to Japan, has been the subject of a series of discoveries of excellent sound sources in recent years. Even if it is limited to items recorded by Miracle Man, it includes ``AN EVENING IN DECEMBER'' from 1976, and ``DEFINITELY OVER'' from 1978, which is newly appearing this time, and realistically captures the performance and mood of the venue at the time. An item exists. However, since it was the 1970s, there was no consistent material available in terms of video footage. Even so, Japanese fans still left behind video records, albeit in fragments. This work covers all of the currently known 8mm film footage and compiles it into a 45-minute compilation. The valuable footage that recorded the RAINBOW live at that time is definitely a must-see for all fans (even if the recorded content is incomplete). The first thing you can see is their performance at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on December 2nd, which was their first day in Japan in 1976. Although the total recording time is very limited at 3 minutes and 15 seconds, the performance will be performed under a huge rainbow lighting system that emits light in the familiar flashy colors and two types of backdrops from the 1st album and "RISING". You can check the members' behavior through shots from the second floor seats. Here, “Kill The King” is layered from “EMPEROR’S BLOOD” which is the audience recording of the same day, making it a video that allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the live performance more. The video of the Hiroshima performance on December 14th is a big highlight of this work! In addition to the live performance, the 5-minute video also shows the members arriving in Hiroshima on the Shinkansen (he looks great in his cozy sunglasses! He readily accepts autograph requests from fans) and traveling in a hired car. You can enjoy it with a kind of documentary touch. At the live performance, you can clearly see Richie operating the white Strat. From 10 minutes and 30 seconds onwards, a drum solo scene for nearly a minute is also included (including an explosion effect using magnesium). The scene in the venue that gets excited during the subsequent "Still I'm Sad" is also clearly captured. Although it lacks some clarity, the 14 minutes and 20 seconds seen here will leave a strong impression on fans. The third one contains 21 minutes of the Hiroshima performance on January 12, 1978. This one features quite elaborate editing, with footage of the members arriving at Hiroshima Station inserted into the live footage (a take of "ON STAGE" was added to the sound source during the editing stage). . The shooting points differ depending on the scene, but the footage shot from the second floor seat on the left side facing the stage is especially amazing, and Richie's enthusiastic play makes you go "Wow!" and get excited. . Furthermore, the close-up footage from the first floor seats, which can be seen in the 10 minute range, is impressive. The content, which includes Cozy's drum solo and Richie's guitar crash, is sure to give fans a high sense of satisfaction! The video also includes promotional posters posted around the city, making this scene a valuable video as well. The last part includes live footage from the Fukushima/Koriyama performance on January 24, 1978. Although the recording time is 6 minutes and 30 seconds, this video is of the highest quality in this work, with beautiful colors and clear details. The image from almost the front of the stage is worth seeing, and Richie's play is one of the best. The fast-paced action will captivate viewers. The appearance of Ronnie and Bob Disley singing passionately, and the brave appearance of Cozy playing the drums are also captured in quite clear outlines. It's an excellent video that wouldn't look out of place even if it was officially used as part of a history video! Although the recording time is short, this work is definitely a must-see for all RAINBOW fans. If you watch this video after listening to "Ronnie RAINBOW's last Japanese performance" with the sound source "DEFINITELY OVER", you will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the Japan performance at that time more deeply. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the many valuable videos that will delight even enthusiasts who are not satisfied with the sound source alone.
