RAINBOW's ultimate...or rather, the legendary concert video "LIVE IN MUNICH 1977" that depicts the ideal image of British HR. Now comes its own version. [The best/different version of hard rock masterpiece video] There is no need to say much about “LIVE IN MUNICH 1977”. A multi-camera professional shot of the "Munich performance on October 20, 1977" symbolizing the RAINBOW triumvirate featuring Ronnie James Dio and Cozy Powell. The air check master of TV broadcasting has continued to produce many episodes since ancient times, and it is a masterpiece video that became so popular that it was made official in 2006. Of course, 14 years have passed since its officialization, and it continues to reign as a major rock classic, and has transcended the level of a single band called RAINBOW, becoming a legend that has risen to become a symbol of the music genre "hard rock." This is a concert video. This is a masterpiece among masterpieces, but of course this work is not a copy of the official product. This is the Nippon Broadcasting version that was featured on a certain satellite broadcasting station's famous program "Western Music Live Legend" in 2007, the 30th anniversary of the show. At our store, with the cooperation of Japan's core recording enthusiasts, we archive masterpieces of music programs with the finest masters. This work is the “LIVE IN MUNICH 1977” version. The points of this Japanese broadcast version can be summarized into two points. One is quality. This work is perfect in that respect. Recording enthusiasts have left the highest peak masters by making full use of the high-end equipment of the era in which it was broadcast, but the year 2007 of this work is the year after it became official, and digital broadcasting has also become established in satellite broadcasting. The official master is digitally recorded without deterioration. [Legendary concert video decorated with the program's unique production] No matter how official the quality is, it is meaningless if the actual official product is distributed. Another point that becomes important here is the unique production of the program. In the case of this work, there are two performances. First of all, there is an explanation corner at the beginning, where the familiar Chris Pep○ talks about the history of RAINBOW and the background of the show. Of course, there are no new facts that will surprise even enthusiasts, but Mr. P○ler's dandy voice stirs up the feeling of going to the concert and even adds to the elegance of the work. The most important point is the unique Japanese subtitles. The MC that Ronnie speaks at various parts of the show is displayed completely in Japanese. This is quite interesting. ``Mistreated'' is introduced as an ``on-stage song,'' and he says, ``It was recorded a while ago, but what band was it by? I forgot.'' Regarding his new album ``LONG LIVE ROCK 'N' ROLL,'' he jokes, ``I don't care if you shoplift my new album instead of buying it, but just get it.'' The way he speaks is also very meaningful. On ``Long Live Rock 'N' Roll,'' he says, ``I've been trying to convey this message to the world,'' but adds, ``Not outside of Austria.'' He then dedicates ``Man On The Silver Mountain'' to ``Ox, the greatest man in the world.'' ” he introduces. Furthermore, his sense of Japanese translation is a bit unique. Although it is not wrong to translate “Audience” as “customer”, it still feels a bit strange when someone says, “This is probably the best audience on this tour. No, it is the best audience I have ever had.” Even more strange is the introduction scene of Bob Daisley. Bob responds with a humorous phrase when his name is called, and at that moment Ronnie says, ``Who's the current expert? Good dog.'' It's true that he speaks so fast that it's hard to hear, but I think it would be better to say something like, "What was that? That's interesting" to convey the mood... I'm not sure if I'm recommending it or not, but the point of this work is that you can watch legendary footage with a fresh feeling once again. While this is the highest quality version of the video work, which is a masterpiece of the music genre itself, it is a different version with even more original production. It's fun to collect, and it's also the perfect piece to look back on the wonders of ``LIVE IN MUNICH 1977.''
