This is a live album containing Ritchie Blackmore's last performance in Kyushu. To date, Richie has toured Japan 13 times throughout his career, but only six of them were in Kyushu. Let's review a little bit here.・December 13, 1976: Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium ・January 13, 1978: Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium ・January 14, 1978: Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium ・August 18, 1981: Fukuoka Sun Palace ・October 1982 17th: Fukuoka Sun Palace ・November 20, 1995: Kyushu Welfare Pension Hall [This work] The above six performances are all of the Kyushu performances. Both were created by RAINBOW and were not realized with DEEP PURPLE or BLACKMORE'S NIGHT. This work is an audience recording of the last show "November 20, 1995, Kyushu Welfare Pension Hall" performance. This is a live album made directly to CD from the original DAT provided directly by the recorder. This recording has been normally released as "TEMPLE OF THE SOUTH", and is a great recording with a wonderful realistic audience sound. Although it can't be called a "soundboard" because there is a sense of distance, the musical tones pass through the core firmly and pierce straight through the venue space like a laser beam. The best thing about it is the clarity, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful Strat "sound" without distortion or muddiness. With such a musical tone as the main premise, what I would like to highlight is the excitement of the audience. As mentioned above, this was the first concert in Kyushu in 13 years since 1982. This “STRANGER IN US ALL TOUR 1995” has been eagerly awaited all over the country! The feeling is exploding, but the momentum is different in this Kyushu performance. Of course, since it is a Japanese performance, the musical sound will not be drowned out by the loud noise, but the heat of the applause and cheers is tremendous. The Kyushu Welfare Pension Hall (currently Harmony Cunk), which was the venue, has a seating capacity of approximately 2,000, but the loud chorus of "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll" is far from that. Kakuya chants are also held at Budokan and Osaka Castle Hall. That momentum doesn't slow down even with the new songs, and even in "Wolf To The Moon," a steady wave of handclaps washes over from the intro. From the singalong ``Oh, oh, oh'' to the chorus, it's enough to overwhelm Doogie White. Unfortunately, “Smoke On The Water” was not played on this day, but if it had been played, it must have been amazing…. The 6th and last “Blackmore @ Kyushu” in history. This is a passionate live album that captures that stage in high quality sound. It wasn't just enthusiasm, it wasn't just waiting. An original DAT masterpiece that has directly breathed in the atmosphere of the site, where the desire for more is swirling.
