"September 22, 1976 Copenhagen Performance". This is an audience shot taken with 8mm film from the audience seats. As collectors who pay attention to this article will know, audience shots basically began to develop rapidly in the 1980s, when home video cameras began to become popular. Before then, the concept of ``photographing concerts'' was not widespread, and only a few 8mm films remain. In recent years, excavations of this precious 8mm stone have become popular. Unlike video, 8mm film can only be shot for about 10 seconds to a minute, but there is a lot of activity in collecting these bits and pieces of footage and overlaying them with sound to create video works. This work is the RAINBOW version of such an 8mm reprint. It is a famous video that was discovered about 10 years ago and was also made into a press as ``THE RAGING GOD COLLECTORS EDITION'' (part of). As mentioned above, even if you accumulate the fragmented videos, it is about 3 songs / 6 and a half minutes, but the quality is overwhelming. The glossiness of the 8mm screen far exceeds that of video, and although it has a slightly vintage feel, the vivid colors are realistic. And above all, the spectacular view. Even among the arena seats, it was a very front seat, and from there you could see the stage directly over the heads of the audience. You can feel Ronnie and Richie right in front of you. In fact, this 8mm was silent, but the maniac who was responsible for the excavation used the audience recording of the same day. Although it is not completely synchronized, the songs match and are sufficient as audience clips. With that quality, you can experience the shocking guitar crash on-site, so the real thrill is tremendous. Recently, the discovery of professional TV shots such as the Munich performance "Do You Close Your Eyes" and tour promotional programs has become a hot topic, but nothing can replace the "experience from the audience's perspective" . A masterpiece of historical footage that overcomes the handicap of the times and conveys the "audience seats of 1976" 45 years later.
