The film photographed in this work is the "Hartford performance on July 22, 1995." This is a spectacular audience shot that records the whole story. In the main commentary, we introduced the dates specific to the Japanese performance, so let's expand our horizons further and check out the entire world tour. 1994《“PROMISED LAND” released on October 18》・October 20-28: Europe #1 (5 performances) 1995・February 9-March 10: Europe #2 (23 performances)・March 16th-24th: Japan (7 performances) April 14th-May 27th: North America #3 (34 performances) June 9th-July 27th: North America #4 (36 performances) ★Here★ This is QUEENSRYCHE in 1994/1995. The scale of over 100 performances is one of the largest in their history. It was truly a golden age. Under such circumstances, the Hartford performance of this work was the 32nd concert of the final edition “North America #4”. This work, shot at such a show, is a superb view. After all, there was no cover. It is a one-camera audience shot looking straight ahead at the center of the stage, but the viewpoint is extremely high. The stage was the only thing that occupied the view, passing far above the heads of the audience seated in the arena seats. For example, in Japan, a certain metal program on TVK sometimes shows a one-camera professional shot, and it feels like a full show... no, it's more than that. When it closes up, Geoff Tate's upper body fills the screen, and the bold zoom is an incredible view that would never have been seen on that particular program. And the sound is as good as the sights. This is the type that feels like an audience in the tone, but the clarity and sense of separation are outside the common sense of a guest record. In particular, Eddie Jackson's bass line has a vivid and harsh attack, and the line that is created by connecting them is also clear. This is also a vivid sound like a laser beam with no obstructions. A full show drawn with such quality is truly "geatrical metal." Anyway, Jeff's performance is amazing. From the beginning, he interacts with the cast like a play, and even when he is alone, he expresses the story with action that boldly incorporates pantomime. His costumes change frequently, sometimes in a black suit like MIB, then half-naked, sometimes in a tuxedo, sometimes in a wheelchair, sometimes in a leather jacket. In the middle of the show, the stage itself becomes a bar and Jeff, dressed as a jazzman, plays the saxophone in the middle of the dancing audience. The stage is ever-changing with Jeff and the cast alone, but a large amount of image footage is also shown on the screen, and you can fully enjoy the viewing angle show that was praised as ``like a movie'' at the time. Right at its peak. When it comes to QUEENSRYCHE, only “OPERATION: MINDCRIME” and reenactment tours attract attention, but the true climax and the destination of evolution was “THE ROAD TO THE PROMISED LAND TOUR”. Why wasn't this tour officially filmed? This is a photo that makes me feel so regretful. A video masterpiece that allows you to fully witness a theatrical stage that even exceeds "OPERATION: LIVECRIME".
