During the "THE MIRACLE" era, it was announced that there would be no tour even though they were releasing masterpieces. A rare documentary piece that captures the moment when the world began to notice the disturbing atmosphere is set to be released. This film is truly a mysterious film. According to the credits, it seems to have been broadcast on "HARDRIAN TV" on "October 2, 1989", about 4 months after the release of "THE MIRACLE", but this may be the broadcasting station or the name of the program. It's not clear. It's an inexplicable 30-minute documentary video. Moreover, it is beautiful. It's a period-style video master, but it feels more like a copy of the station master than an air check. Although there is a slight discoloration of the phone at the top of the screen, there is no other noticeable deterioration, and there is no loss of detail or fading. That is the beauty of the visuals, as if you were watching it on the official documentary DVD. And the content of the program. Many of the videos have been seen in numerous documentaries, but the selection has a strong real-time feel from the "THE MIRACLE" era. Of course, various all-time videos are collaged, and the features include clips and making-of footage of "Breakthru" and "Scandal," Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballé, Roger Taylor's drum solo, and THE CROSS's "Cowboys And Indians' live performances, conventions where the members' costumes are auctioned off, etc. Videos that would probably not have been included if they were produced in later years were appearing one after another. It's rare to just have official-level beautiful THE CROSS live footage, but what's more is an interview with the four members. Roger and John Deacon are on the station platform, Brian May is talking in the train, and both the scene and the content are apparently original to the program. You can tell that it was a full-fledged program because they went to the trouble of recording their own interviews, rather than reusing them. As I watched the video, I suddenly noticed that Freddy didn't appear. Yes, there are comments, but there are only a few scenes, and the images shown in the background are all of him from the past. It is this invisible Freddy that gives us a strong sense of “1989.” In the movie ``Bohemian Rhapsody'', he revealed his HIV infection to the members during the LIVE AID rehearsal, but in historical fact, it is said to have been during the production of ``THE MIRACLE''. The members were unable to go on tour while creating a masterpiece, and had a feeling that the fateful day would come someday. There are few smiles on his face, but on the other hand, he speaks strangely a lot. Even the quiet John is talkative, as if trying to shoulder Freddie's burden. A very rare yet extremely beautiful masterpiece documentary. What was depicted there was supposed to be ``THE MIRACLE,'' which opens up a glorious history and future. However, the more the spectacular footage continues and the more the members talk, the more the reality of 1989 begins to peek out. It's important now that we know what's behind the words, and even a single edit gives off a real sense of the times. This is a piece where you can feel the creeping fate of Freddy as you look back on him. ★This is a very valuable and important TV special broadcasted in 1989, created from a commercial video master. Very rare. And the quality is also high. Fans, please get it. TV Special aird on 2nd October 1989 PRO-SHOT 1. Time Counter 2. Was It All Worth It 3. John Deacon / Brian May 4.
