QUEEN's last performance in Tokyo was "May 11, 1985: National Yoyogi Stadium". The best master of FM broadcasting that surpasses even the official video has been newly discovered. ・May 8th + 9th: Nippon Budokan ・May 11th: National Yoyogi Stadium [This work] ・May 13th: Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium ・May 15th: Osaka Castle Hall This day was the very last “QUEEN” A symbol of Japan. The actual last show was in Osaka, but the Yoyogi performance was broadcast on TV and radio, and was made into an official work as ``FINAL CONCERT LIVE IN JAPAN.'' This is a classic among the classics that has passed down the story of the very special last friendship between Japan and QUEEN. However, at the same time, the most important official works are also famous for being unsatisfactory. In the official version, the support keyboard was mixed louder than Brian May's guitar, the drum sound was strange, and Roger Taylor's voice was hard to hear... Official was just the name, and I wanted to say, "What is this?" And most of the soundboard titles were also official drops. However, there was also a natural and highly complete sound board that was completely different from the official video. It was an FM radio program at the time that was broadcast shortly after the live performance. It was broadcast before it was made official, and the mix was exactly as heard at the venue. The almost unprocessed guitar and vocals have a fresh, natural sound, and the official video includes "Liar", the first half of which was edited, and "Dragon Attack", which was completely cut. It was a broadcast that received rave reviews from enthusiasts around the world, saying it was ``more than official'' and ``this should have been left official.'' Since it is such an official sound board, it has been titled for a long time. However, this work is not a reprint or a remastered reissue. Obtain the best air check master by a completely different recorder. It is a completely new work that has been made directly into CD. What's surprising is the sound. I can't believe it's the same broadcast! Actually, this new master was in the treasured collection of a certain recording enthusiast, and that person is the recorder who once shocked SADE with his masterpiece "PROMISE IN TOKYO". Despite the familiar soundboard, for some reason it is completely different from other recordings, and there is no feeling of processing. In the world of recorders who are particular about radio wave conditions and equipment, we have continued to achieve outstandingly high quality sound. Such a rare maniac heard "THE LAST TOUR IN JAPAN" and offered it to me, saying, "My collection had a better sound." In fact, the sound flowing from this work certainly reproduces the magic of SADE. As with “THE LAST TOUR IN JAPAN”, you can feel the mix and sound that exceeds the official one, but this new master is even more natural. It is exactly the sound that the broadcast radio waves of 1985 have jumped through time and space. What is especially moving is Freddie's singing voice. “THE LAST TOUR IN JAPAN” was also fresh, but the treble was a little strong. Of course, this made the song feel powerful and clear, but Freddie's singing voice was slightly squeamish. On the other hand, this work is super natural and the scene itself. It's as vivid as if Freddie was singing right now without letting the microphone pass through. This sound can never be achieved with existing equalization. It is a natural sound that can only be achieved by an unprocessed super-high-quality master. Although it is not proof of that, I would like you to listen to songs such as “Is This The World We Created?” and “Love Of My Life,” for example. Freddie's singing voice stands out in a simple ensemble only in the acoustic corner, but there was a subtle hiss noise here in the previous release. It was only noticeable in silent parts and acoustics, but this new master does not even have such a small hiss. Because of its super freshness, it is beautiful even when it is completely unprocessed as it was broadcast. And because it is completely unprocessed, an ultra-natural sound has been achieved. Under such circumstances, there is only one point that has been modified in this work. It was a comment from a famous DJ that was recorded at the beginning and end of the program. In previous broadcast titles, the DJ's voice was also recorded as a sense of the times, but in this work, all of that has been removed. Only the opening song "Machines", which was covered by the DJ's voice, was supplemented with the official video, making it a full live album exclusively for QUEEN. The reason is that the new master was too natural and faithful to the “last QUEEN”. If you've listened to the previous episodes, you probably know that the DJ's comments are a little cynical. It's also a sense of the times that can only be achieved in real time, but I wanted to get rid of even that DJ filter. To that extent, this work is a natural sound that allows you to touch QUEEN and the real Freddy. FM sound board that easily surpassed the official video. This is an amazing new excavation master that updates the highest peak. Although it is not as flashy as "THE LAST TOUR IN JAPAN", it is a natural record that makes your heart tighten with Freddie's singing voice because it is unprocessed.
