Newly unearthed pro shots from the "JAZZ Tour" visit to Japan, which is currently shocking collectors all over the world! It will be released as a set with the conventional TV broadcast pro shots! This work features two Nippon Budokan pro shots. The first half is a newly unearthed master of the "April 24, 1979 performance," and the second half is an air check master DVD of the "April 25 performance the following year." 1979 was the largest Japan tour in their history, and Nippon Budokan was also the most frequent. First, let's check the composition of this work in light of that schedule.・April 13th + 14th: Nippon Budokan (2 performances) ・April 19th + 20th: Osaka Festival Hall (2 performances) ・April 21st: Kanazawa Jissen Ethics Memorial Hall ・April 23rd: Nippon Budokan *April 24th: Nippon Budokan ←★First half of this work (newly discovered)★ *April 25th: Nippon Budokan ←★Second half of this work (TV broadcast)★ ・April 27th: Kobe Municipal Central Gymnasium ・April 28th: Nagoya International Exhibition Hall ・April 30th + May 1st: Fukuoka Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium (2 performances) ・May 2nd: Yamaguchi Prefectural Gymnasium ・May 5th + 6th: Makomanai Ice Arena (2 performances)This is the historic Japan tour of the "JAZZ Tour". Nippon Budokan was a stepping stone for five performances, the final performance of which was later broadcast on TV, which is well known. This work is a definitive compilation that combines the familiar TV broadcast pro shots and the newly discovered pro shots from the previous day with the best master. Let's take a look at each video individually. The newly discovered one-camera pro shot (approximately 61 minutes) that shocked the world first appears as the first appearance pro shot of "April 24th," the star of this project. This is the same footage as "BUDOKAN 1979 4TH NIGHT: ROADIE CAM." In fact, fragmented footage (approximately 20 minutes) from this day had been discovered about three years ago, but this time a 60-minute long master was unearthed. The on-stage roadie shot this footage with a single camera, and it was also used in part for the "Love Of My Life" music video. While it's not a multi-camera shoot, the perspective of the members from behind offers a sense of secrecy that would be impossible for the audience, and you can clearly see the members looking back and making eye contact with each other. It's shocking that this was their first appearance after 46 years, but the quality is even better. While no gene information has been revealed, no matter how you look at it, it seems to be nothing but the original film direct. Unfortunately, the final tracks "We Are the Champions" and "God Save the Queen" suffer from severe tape deterioration, but up until then, it's an excellent product. The glossiness is unmatched throughout the screen, with no dubbing degradation, and no fading is visible. And the stereo soundboard's transcendent sound. While a one-camera staff shot would be unsurprisingly recorded with a microphone mounted on the camera, this work perfectly synchronizes the audio recorded directly from the mix desk. While this is a direct-connected mix, it's unsuitable for official productions, making it a top-quality, official-grade soundboard. Following the familiar TV broadcast pro shot best master (approximately 33 minutes), a multi-camera pro shot of the "April 25th" performance (the screen caption reads "5/24," but this is a broadcast error; the content is definitely "5/25") appears. Due to Freddie Mercury's NG request, this recording was never released at the time of his visit to Japan. However, several years after the concert, it was broadcast by a certain commercial broadcaster in the early 1980s as "The Live: QUEEN Live at Budokan Part I & II." Because it was NG footage, there is no official archive, let alone a rebroadcast. To this day, it remains a phantom broadcast, a "one-off first broadcast." While a classic bootleg, this release features the best master unearthed in 2020. This masterpiece was digitized directly from the original Betamax tapes treasured by a core Japanese record enthusiast. It combines two late-night broadcasts of approximately 15 minutes each into one recording. While the visual beauty is unmatched, it also boasts the longest recording time. The recording begins with a scene never before seen on a conventional master. The suffocating sight of a packed Nippon Budokan unfolds, with a huge banner hanging from the first floor seats. Not only is its size of about 6 meters wide eye-catching, but the yellow color scheme on a black background seems to say, "You can see it even in the dark." Moreover, the content is "TEOTORIATTE!" and is a full-throttle request. And above all, Mr. Fukudome's narration of the scene at the Nippon Budokan before the show began is also long. It's a historically rich, well-known tune, so let's briefly write it down. The part you can hear on the new master: "April 24th. Now, QUEEN, towering majestically at the summit of the world rock scene, is about to begin their third visit to Japan. The video of this performance has been kept as a phantom VTR among those involved. Until QUEEN truly becomes a group representing the 1980s, I want you to watch only the record and the tour. This is QUEEN." The part you can hear in the conventional version from here: "It was a passionate request. And now QUEEN is celebrating its 10th anniversary since its debut and can be premiered for the first time. The Budokan is full of hot expectations and excitement!" This is the best master of the first appearance pro shot, which is causing the biggest shock of 2025, and the traditional TV broadcast pro shot. This is a definitive edition that permanently preserves two vertex records. This is a pro shot of the "April 24th/25th, 1979: Nippon Budokan Performance." The first half is a newly discovered master of the April 24th performance, a one-camera pro shot taken by Roadie. The second half is the best master of the traditional TV broadcast pro shot of the April 25th performance. The first half (April 24th) in particular is a first appearance video of about 60 minutes, with both the video and the stereo soundboard audio being superb. This is a definitive edition that permanently preserves two vertex records. Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 24th & 25th April 1979 PRO-SHOT Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 24th April 1979 Roadie Cam(60:46) 1.
