A legend that forever changed the history of Western music in Japan...or rather, a "mythical night." This complete live album, which tells the whole story, has been upgraded. This is the highest peak updated 2CD. That mythical night was the "April 19, 1975: Nippon Budokan" performance. This is the highest peak audience recording. Their first visit to Japan was a series of miracles, with every performance and every moment. We have archived as many masterpieces as possible, so let's start by looking back at the dates from that time. * April 19th: Nippon Budokan ←★This work★ * April 22nd "NAGOYA 1975" * April 23rd "COMPLETE KOBE 1975" ・ April 25th: Fukuoka City Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium * April 28th "FATAL ATTRACTION (Okayama)" * April 29th "TSUMAGOI 1975" ・ April 30th: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium * May 1st "BUDOKAN 1975 2ND NIGHT" * Only masterpieces are included in each performance. Utilizing three different recordings, the longest record has been updated for a total of eight performances. This work was recorded on the first day, which is the best of them all. Yes, it is a night when a rare bond was formed between QUEEN and Japan, even in rock history. As a mythical night that transcends legend, many famous recordings have been produced throughout its long history. Among them, the best master that updated the highest peak was discovered in 2022. This album, "The God of New First Visit to Japan," is a reworking of that legendary album by GRAF ZEPPELIN, refining it to the longest and highest peak. First and foremost, it's the longest-ever release. The most significant feature is the use of the following three recordings. A: Main recording. This is the best master unearthed in 2022, and the previous release debuted. B: Complementary recording. A beloved classic from "FIRST TOKYO TAPES." C: Complementary recording. Digitalized from the legendary LP "A BEAUTIFUL ALBUM." Like the previous release, this album's main focus is "A." While a vintage recording, it boasts a surprisingly robust core, meticulous detail, and high resolution. The nuances of Freddie's vocals can be heard peeking through the gaps in the layered choruses, and even the roar of the guitar, the movement of the bass line, and the drum hits are conveyed as if they were right in front of your eyes. It was truly a stunning recording, the pinnacle of the first day. However, recording on "A" frequently stopped. Perhaps due to concerns about the remaining tape, it frequently paused between songs. While musically, it wasn't a problem between songs, every moment of "Mythical Night" was crucial. Therefore, other recordings, "B" and "C," were used as patching material to recreate the complete show. While "B" was also used as filler on the previous album, "Wardour-503," this time "C" was also introduced. By fully utilizing a total of three audience recordings, the longest record has been updated by approximately one minute. Meticulous mastering, with precise matching of each recording, has been achieved, achieving the highest level of quality. All three recordings, each with its own unique personality, have been reexamined. Even the beautiful main recording, "A," has been adjusted to even the slightest fluctuations in phase and bandwidth, and the filler source, "B," has been reborn with a vivid new sound through rigorous phase correction and hum removal. Of course, the same applies to the newly adopted "C." Another key point is that any connection issues have been minimized to the greatest extent possible. For example, even with equalization, the changes are not flat and constant. The processing is weak at the connection point, then becomes stronger like a fade, and then becomes weaker again as the source transitions to another source. Of course, the strength and weakness may be reversed depending on the characteristics of each recording, and the same is true for noise processing. Not only is the best possible sound achieved for each individual source, but smoothness as a whole musical work is also pursued. And so "Mythical Night" was revived. This is a good opportunity to organize this monumental full set. Sheer Heart Attack, Now I'm Here, Flick Of The Wrist, In The Lap Of The Gods, Killer Queen, Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Stone Cold Crazy, In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited, etc., Princess of Fear: Doing All Right, Son And Daughter, Keep Yourself Alive, Liar, Modern Times Rock 'n' Roll, Queen II: Procession, Ogre Battle, Father To Son, White Queen (As It Began), The March Of The Black Queen, Seven Seas Of Rhye, etc., Big Spender, Jailhouse Rock, See What A Fool I've Been. All of these are historic nights in the history of Japanese Western music... and so on. The set itself is familiar from their first visit to Japan, but this work captures the scene of their first meeting. The breath of life is historic, even in the intersongs and MCs. The part after "Ogre Battle" is particularly legendary. Freddie, realizing that things were getting too crazy, calmed the audience down. Let me write it out for you: "Thank you! Thank you! Now Listen!! Just Listen! Listen to me a minute... Shuush! Quiet! You're going to have to be careful. Calm down a bit. Take it easy. We're gonna be here for a long time, so don't rush so much. Don't rush the front of the stage. Just take it easy, OK? (Applause erupts) Calm down and we're all gonna have a good time. This is gonna be a nice evening, you and us!" ★★Listen to this! Listen to me for a moment!! Shhh! Quiet!! It's dangerous, calm down a bit. Calm down. We're not going home anytime soon. There's no need to rush. Don't push us to the front of the stage. Calm down and let's all have fun. Let's have a great night! And so they launch into "Father To Son," but even after one song, the situation hasn't changed. "We get a slow number now! You're gonna have to quiet down a bit, so people don't get hurt. Please, take care of yourselves. Just behave and listen!" ★★Next is a slow song. Everyone, please be quiet so you don't get hurt. Please, be careful. Listen with good manners! Truly a myth. What happened at the scene of Queen's first meeting with Japan? This is a complete live album that permanently preserves all of that. Even longer and with even more precision than before, this is a new masterpiece...no, a divine masterpiece. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 19th April 1975 Disc 1 (43:06) 01. Procession 02.
