This is a high quality audience recording of the live performance on April 16th, the first day of the two shows in Zurich, Switzerland, on the fourth day of the 1982 "Hot Space" European tour. This performance was recorded on the Italian bootleg 3-LP "LONG LIFE TO THE QUEEN" released in 1982, and the sound was recorded from the original record in good condition. Although the opening songs Flash and The Hero are still missing, and the endings of Somebody To Love, Fat Bottomed Girls, and Sheer Heart Attack are still missing, the sound is much better than the CDs that were previously available, the high pitch was adjusted, and Staying Power and Under Pressure, which were recorded in the wrong position to be recorded on the 6th side of the LP, were rearranged to the correct position, literally recording the best version of the first day of the 1982 Zurich performance. Originally, the sound quality of the paper jacket reprint CD was poor, and the sound source of this day left a bad impression on fans, but this 2013 LP direct reprint version is recorded in a high-quality stereo audience recording with a rich sound that is surprising to hear and is naturally made into a press CD. At the beginning, Tie Your Mother Down still sounds rough, but the sound gradually improves, and the next Action This Day sounds perfect. If you listen to Play The Game, where you can hear the sound effects of the opening MC, you will easily understand that this is one of the best recordings of the tour. After all, as many enthusiasts have pointed out, Freddie's vocals are in top form this night! You can enjoy a superb performance with a drive that is just driving you along in every part. The brilliant intro at the beginning of Somebody To Love and the song melody that elegantly controls the high range will make everyone fall in love (and cry!). There aren't many live takes of Somebody To Love that are this amazing, so the cut of the ending and the (terrible) sound processing of the 1982 boot LP are really disappointing (although it can't be helped if the original is cut). After the song ended, the audience called out "We Will Rock You", Roger also played it as a service, and Brian played his guitar to provoke it. After a confusing MC saying "The new album is coming out soon, do you have any questions?", the new line of Staying Power was played funky, but the band's performance seems to be still not well-honed, but Freddie was amazing. The synthesizer that colors the song in a flashy way is also full of fun, and it stands out even in the live performance. The next heavy song, Get Down Make Love, is a complete change from the band, and the strong ensemble is overwhelming the listener. As expected, it's different from the songs that they are used to playing. The high-quality sound with depth is so good that it is very powerful in these songs. Freddie's closing vocals at the end were also excellent. After the show, Freddie's lively shout of "All Right, Yeah Yeah" was also very powerful, and he was really motivated to do anything on this day. The Under Pressure on this day, which can be heard in the correct flow, is sure to be a moving experience for long-time enthusiasts. After the show, the audience called out "We Will Rock You" again. Brian spoke to him with an acoustic guitar in hand, and everything was dramatic. It was rare for Freddie to count out "1, 2, 3, 4" in a loud voice to get the audience to sing Love Of My Life. The atmosphere in the venue was as enthusiastic as a South American performance, and he had the audience sing the full song, including the second verse. Freddie's beautiful voice entering from "You remember..." was moving. The way he sang with a good tempo on this day was truly magnificent. The sound was good, but to be honest, I've never heard it before. Even after the song ended, Freddie, still in high spirits, encouraged the audience, singing "Ta-ta-ta! Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta!" to the rhythm of Back Chat. Save Me is sung with Back Chat as the intro, which is probably the best performance of the tour. This is a masterpiece take that no fan will not cry over. All of them are amazing, but this version is worth getting just to listen to this one song. It's a moment when you think, "Honestly, I'm glad I've been a fan for so many years." John's bass also sounds great. The intro to Mustapha is sung deliberately in an Arabic tone, but this leeway is probably because he's in good form. It has an atmosphere similar to Zeppelin's Kashmir. Following the introduction by piano player Morgan Fisher, before Crazy Little Thing Called Love, they performed a long rhythm improvisation with "We need tempo!", and the part where they started singing while humming the melody is a highlight. Next, Bohemian Rhapsody is played with Death On Two Legs as the intro, and it makes you think, "Can you sing like this when you have a voice?" This is exactly what the best sound quality and content means. Just before the encore, Now I'm Here, Freddie appears shouting "Yeah Yeah Yeah". It's great to see him shout "Aha! I Like It!" and immediately go into the guitar part of Now I'm Here. This song is the best in the history of the group, not only Freddie but also the whole band, and Brian's solo is also very powerful. Freddie's call and response with the audience in the 4-minute range also makes it fun to listen to the usual long exchange of "All Right, All Right". The jam-like performance before and after the Dragon Attack is also very impressive. The bass sounds are also great, and you can enjoy the Dragon Attack, which is better than anything I've ever heard before. As mentioned above, it's a shame that the ending of Sheer Heart Attack was cut, but We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, and the last song God Save The Queen (you can also hear Freddie's "Let's Go Home!") are perfectly recorded. This is a super high-quality "new vinyl rip" version that is already a hot topic overseas. Our label has further refined the sound, adding more power to the low range and making the sound more powerful. In addition, all noise from the record has been removed to the extent that it does not affect the original sound. This "LONG LIFE TO THE QUEEN" is definitely Queen's best bootleg of 2013. Freddie's top form continues until the very end. Please enjoy it at high volume. Live at Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland 16th April 1982 TRULY AMAZING/PERFECT SOUND(UPGRADE) Disc 1(61:20) 1.
