A shocking historical tape has appeared. This work is a QUEEN audience album containing "Glasgow performance on November 23, 1973". In August, "QUEEN II" was produced, and two months later, the UK tour began as an opening act for Mott the Hoople. This is a record of the very early QUEEN performance, which was the 11th performance. This recording was not even known to exist until recently, and suddenly appeared on the Internet in recent years. After all, only four or five recordings of "1973" were known until now. Although it is a band filled with researchers and collectors all over the world, a sound source that could not be found even after more than 40 years of research suddenly appeared, and the impact is immeasurable. The person who recorded this work is a female taper, who is actually a fan of Mott the Hoople. At that time, she went to the venue for the purpose of seeing Hoople, but what she saw there was an enthusiastic audience looking for a new band called QUEEN. He played the tape while wondering, "Who on earth is this?" Perhaps he had pressed pause because he was worried about the remaining tape, as the beginnings of "Father To Son" and "Ogre Battle" were missing, and "Son And Daughter," which was supposed to have been performed that day, was not included. The sound is a little cracked, and should be called a "historical record" rather than a "musical work." Writing like this might make you think of a type of "looking for music in noise," but that's not the case. Almost all of the music you hear from this work is the band's musical sounds. Although there is a sense of cracking at the time of recording, there is no tape twisting, uneven running, or deterioration over time, and the band is very close. Although the sound is not praiseworthy when listening to it from an audio perspective, it is not the kind that requires patience, and you can feel the passion that was put into it as well as the songs and performances. What was recorded on such a precious and precious master was a hot and burning QUEEN. In fact, this day was the last day of a nine-day consecutive performance, but Freddie, who was only 27 years old at the time, had no fatigue. The intense vocalization pulls the show forward. The precious "Hangman" is also wonderful, but as the second half goes on, the tension rises and rises, and in "Liar" he roars a phantasmagoric singing. The enthusiasm of the audience, fueled by the passionate performance, is also amazing. Even though the production is over, "QUEEN II" will be released in March of the following year, 1974, so the audience does not know the songs at all. Despite this, there is a tremendous response from "Father To Son" and "Ogre Battle". There are often loud cheers on radio broadcasts, but the live cheers are just as loud. After this, "QUEEN II" will be a big hit in the UK, reaching number 5, but the signs of this are already swirling. With this much enthusiasm, it is not unreasonable for Taper, who was a fan of Mott the Hoople, to want to press the record button... What kind of live performance did QUEEN do in the very early days, and what did the audience in the home country feel when they watched it? This is a piece that jumps out more realistically than ever. Certainly, the sound of this album is not suitable for beginners. I would like to recommend this album to all enthusiastic enthusiasts and QUEEN researchers. The preciousness of the blues cover "I'm A Man" that pops out at the very end of the album may even make you dizzy. However, please do not misunderstand. If you write "for enthusiasts and researchers...", it may seem like a dull document, but that is not the case. That is how deeply enthusiasts and researchers love QUEEN. The QUEEN packed into this album is filled with heat that ignites the hearts of normally calm researchers and raises their fists to the maximum. Conversely, if you get excited after listening to this album, it means that you have the same passion as enthusiasts and researchers. This is a historical album that contains a historically valuable excavation and the extremely hot and burning early QUEEN on one CD.
