The Boston performance on January 30th, the second day of the Boston performance at the beginning of the 1976 US tour, which was held in conjunction with the release of "A NIGHT AT THE OPERA", was completely recorded with the strongest and highest sound quality of the opera tour, far surpassing the already released "A NIGHT AT BOSTON" (Wardour-067, sold out). Is it possible to upgrade "A NIGHT AT BOSTON", which was originally highly praised as the "best sound quality board of the 1976 tour"? Isn't it just equalized? It's not unreasonable to think that, but anyway, if you listen to this sound, you can tell the difference in one shot. The clear and clearest sound quality, as if a skin has been peeled off, pops out from the beginning and fills the speakers. The sound is so good that it is probably the best sound not only in 1976 but also in all of Queen's sound sources in the 1970s. In other words, I can't think of any other performance recording with such a perfect sound. Moreover, even the "sasiseso" vocal sound, which was the most noticeable thing about this sound source, has been alleviated, and this is probably the real master sound that has not been dubbed. The expression "there is always something better" is a praise that is appropriate for this album, and it can be said that this is the best of the best, reigning at the top of Queen bootlegs, with everything being good, at the beginning of the opera tour, which can be said to be Queen's best time (when the fatigue of the tour is not yet felt). It seems that there is not much point in talking about the details when it is so good, but Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon, which is recorded in full at the beginning of Disc 2, is very valuable because it has hardly been confirmed outside of the Japanese performance. Moreover, unlike the Japanese performance, it is amazing that the early live version, which is sung with the same vocal line and chorus as the album, can be heard with such sound quality. Is there any fan who does not cry at Freddie's vocals singing freely as if dancing in the sky, which can be heard at the beginning of Seven Seas Of Rhye? (Is this the only take where you can hear this kind of singing?) As with the previous releases, the Boston '76 definitive edition will be released with the best sound quality ever, with perfectly adjusted pitch. Live at Boston Music Hall, Boston, MA.
