“SHEER HEART ATTACK Tour” achieved a breakthrough and made a leap forward to the whole world. The treasure recording is newly discovered! What is recorded in this work is “February 15, 1975 Boston Performance (Late Show)”. This is the first appearance audience recording. Speaking of 1975, it is remembered as the "year of opera", but most of the year was spent on tours related to the previous album "SHEER HEART ATTACK". First, let's look back at the schedule and check the show's position. 1974, October 30th - November 20th: UK (19 performances) ← *Official ["SHEER HEART ATTACK" released on November 8th], November 23rd - December 13th: Europe (11 performances) 1975 February 5th-24th: North America #1 (19 performances) ←★Coco★ March 5th-April 6th: North America #2 (21 performances) April 19th-May 1st: First visit to Japan (8 performances) This is the overall picture of “SHEER HEART ATTACK Tour”. The most famous official live album ``LIVE AT THE RAINBOW '74'' was released just before the album was released, but after that they toured Europe, and in 1975 they finally began a US tour and their first visit to Japan. The Boston performance of this work is the earliest record in 1975. This was the 10th concert of "North America #1". Two performances were held on this day, with the early show starting at 19:30 and the late show starting at 22:30. What is recorded in this work is the late show. Also, speaking of "North America #1," the shocking work "NEW YORK 1975" that was discovered last year is still fresh in my memory. This work is also the day before that. This work, which was recorded at such a show, is a vintage audience that recalls “NEW YORK 1975” not only in the schedule but also in the sound. "NEW YORK 1975" is a step ahead in terms of vivid detail and clear visibility, but this work is superior in terms of core strength and closeness. In particular, the closeness of the vocals is wonderful, with Freddie's singing voice and the two choruses clearly separated. Although the individuality is slightly different, it is a vintage recording that is equally easy to listen to. Moreover, this work is a remastered version that maximizes the potential of such a new excavation master. In the original net sound, not only was the pitch significantly slower, but there was noticeable hiss in the bass and treble ranges, and there were parts where the left channel seemed off and the stereo effect was distorted. Of course, this work carefully repairs each of those points one by one. Of course, Omoto's individuality is fully utilized, so he is not the type to tout it as ``just like a soundboard!'', but he has achieved a level of perfection that allows you to fully immerse yourself in it as a musical work. And what is important is the content of the Boston performance that the whole world knows for the first time. Each song is a live performance that I hear for the first time, and it's my first time being present at the venue. Even every word of the MC is fresh. Considering its preciousness and sound quality, it would be appropriate to make it into a permanent preservation press, but there was actually a major drawback that prevented it from being realized. That means incomplete recording. Although I don't know the exact full set since there is no separate recording, let's compare it with "NEW YORK 1975" which is probably the same. QUEEN (3 songs) ・Son And Daughter/Keep Yourself Alive/Liar QUEEN II (5 songs) ・Procession/Ogre Battle/Father To Son/White Queen (As It Began)/The March Of The Black Queen SHEER HEART ATTACK (7 songs) Song) ・Now I'm Here/Flick Of The Wrist/In The Lap Of The Gods/Killer Queen/Bring Back That Leroy Brown/Stone Cold Crazy/In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited (▼) Others (3 Song)・Big Spender (▼) / Modern Times Rock 'n' Roll (▼) / Jailhouse Rock (▼) *Note: Songs marked with "▼" are presumed to have been omitted from recording in this work. ...and it looks like this. Normally, I mark delicious songs that I can't listen to for comparison, but this time it's the other way around. Songs that were not recorded are marked with a "▼". In other words, “In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited” at the end of the show and the cover section that follows are missing. To be more precise, there are also gaps in the opening "Procession" and the last "Liar". It is a pity that the recording is incomplete. However, even if you deduct that, it is a live album full of taste of early QUEEN that you cannot miss listening to. Even after 46 years, recordings that have never been heard are still being discovered. The live performance itself is so fascinating that it speaks to the greatness of QUEEN and stirs up a desire for further exploration. Such a fresh first experience recording. Audience recording of “February 15, 1975 Boston Performance (Late Show)”. This is the first recording that conveys a show that could not be heard before, and it has a vintage sound that recalls the masterpiece "NEW YORK 1975" of the next day. This work is superior in terms of the strength of the core and the closeness of the distance. In particular, the closeness of the vocals is wonderful, and Freddie's singing voice and the two choruses are clearly separated.
