This is a recording of a newly discovered high-quality sound source from the 1986 Magic Tour. On July 30th, when the tour was approaching the latter half, the performance in Frejas, France, was recorded in full for about 1 hour and 47 minutes with a high-quality audience recording. It is recorded with a clear sound with good sound, and for the first time, you can enjoy the '86 Frejas performance, which had only poor sound sources until now, in high quality. This is the second Magic Tour performance live in France after the fourth performance in Paris (Freddie shouted "Bonsoir!" at the first greeting), but as a result, this performance will be Queen's last live performance in France. The original plan for this concert was to be in Nice, but it was changed to Frejas midway. The size of the venue was also smaller than usual, an indoor venue with a capacity of 15,000 people, so Freddie MCed before Another One Bites The Dust, saying "It's like a small bedroom!", inviting the audience to laugh. Anyway, Freddie seems to be in good shape that day, and he is able to effortlessly produce high frequencies, and his powerful singing voice powerfully leads the show. The band is also drawn to it, and they are performing a strangely groovy performance, which has resulted in one of the best performance takes of the Magic Tour. Freddie is also in a good mood, and "Day-O" is longer than usual, and perhaps because of the small venue, after the end of Under Pressure, he said lightly, "Roger, are you bored?". The performance seems to be good on this day, and even the third verse of the song Another One Bites The Dust shows a singing style that follows the album version. It has been said that Freddie's singing on Is This The World We Created? on this day was excellent among enthusiasts, and it is true that if you listen to it with such good sound, you will be even more moved (the sharp singing at the end is a must-listen). Bohemian Rhapsody is also trying to sing faithfully to the original record on this day, but this is also a high-pitched technique. Before the powerful Hammer To Fall, followed by Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Freddie joked, "I don't think Edith Piaf (French national chanson singer) would have sung this even if she was alive," but unfortunately there was no reaction from the audience (laughs). After the second chorus of Radio Ga Ga (at the 4th minute), Freddie said something incomprehensible: "It smells like a hamburger!" As mentioned above, it was a small venue, so the performance continued with a good rhythm, but there was also a great scene where he made a mistake on the piano right after the last verse of "We Are The Champions," and the song almost stopped for a moment, even though he said "Thank you all!" in French. This is a record that is full of the fun of a live performance, including things like this. This is the best record that lets you feel that nothing can compete with the "charm of the real Queen." The performance is great, but the sound is surprisingly good, so Queen fans should definitely add this to their collection!
