On the fifth day of the 1986 "MAGIC TOUR", the performance in Brussels on June 16th in Belgium was completely recorded with a high-quality audience recording of the highest level! A new sound source with an astonishingly different master from "Brussels Magic" released three years ago has been remastered and recorded. Originally, only the sound quality of this performance was extremely poor, and of course there was no boot, and in 2011, the aforementioned "Brussels Magic" recorded a new excellent master, and it was a performance that finally saw the light of day. And in 2014, surprisingly, a third source of this day appeared. Moreover, even among deep enthusiasts, it is a superb audience recording with a good sound quality and reputation comparable to Vienna and Knebworth in 1986. The already released "Brussels Magic" was recorded using "Sanyo TRC-2300", but the take of this board is "SONY D6C". The previous recording was also very good and a high-grade sound source, but this version is not only better in sound quality, but also has a higher level of completeness than the previous version, and considering that it is the longest recording, it can definitely be said to be the definitive version of this day. The new sound source this time has fewer cheers than the previous one, and its characteristic is that it captures the vocals and musical sounds firmly. The tape change is after the end of I Want To Break Free, just like the previous one, but the beginning of Impromptu is recorded for more than 10 seconds longer than "Brussels Magic", so you can hear this part for the first time with a clear sound. There is also a short tape change after the end of Bohemian Rhapsody, and this is connected with the cheers of "Brussels Magic", but when you listen to it, you can see how small the cheers on this board are recorded. On this day, Freddie seemed to be suffering from the high range at the beginning, so is it a problem? I thought so, but as the show progressed, the vocals seemed to come out more and more, and from the middle to the latter half, you can hear the vocals at their best. The recording also seemed to get better and better as the show progressed, and I noticed that disc 2 in particular was recorded with one of the best sounds of 1986. Of course, "Brussels Magic" is also a very good recording, but it seems strange that two such good recordings were released in this era, and moreover, more than 10 years after the 21st century. The freshness and clarity of the sound are strangely wonderful. After the Under Pressure performance, Freddie shouts, "I think this is the hottest gig we've ever done so far, I tell you. It's so fucking hot!", but like the hot show, the temperature in Brussels on that day was probably quite high. The best sound quality new source capturing the 1986 Brussels performance is quickly released on CD.
