Among the numerous “THE WORKS TOUR 1984-1985” records, “VIENNA 1984 1ST NIGHT” is a beautiful performance by Freddie. The singing voice alone is an impressive live performance, but you can only truly appreciate the spirit when you see it with your own eyes. Therefore, we present to you a masterpiece audience video that records the same live performance in its entirety. This work is an audience shot that completely records the same “September 29, 1984 Vienna performance” as the 2CD. Although the shot was taken from the rear of the arena, it was very stable using a tripod. Moreover, the master freshness is wonderful, and the lighting that shines in 7 colors unique to “THE WORKS TOUR” is vivid and colorful. It's hard to say that the facial expressions are perfect because it's just a distant shot from the 80's, but the angle, which is familiar with QUEEN, zooms in on the parts you want to see. What's more, the camera works by pulling back to show the entire view and moving closer to the place you want to see, rather than swinging left and right while zooming, so it doesn't make it difficult to see and make you feel intoxicated. Furthermore, the audio is thoroughly overlaid with high-quality sound recorded separately, and the producer's enthusiasm to ``preserve the best footage of this day!'' transforms into quality that flows out from the screen and speakers. The reason why the producers put so much effort into it is, of course, because QUEEN's own performance is amazing. It's beautiful how Freddie puts effort into shaking off the frustration of not being able to hit the high notes. The spirit was felt enough in the main press 2CD, but when you closely witness the action, the persuasiveness of that spirit becomes 100 times more convincing. Many scenes that you can't understand from the CD alone will unfold before your eyes. For example, the beginning of "Impromptu". I can understand the loud cheers that the CD generates, but I don't know why. However, when I looked at this production, Freddy was shaking his half-drunk glass of water over the audience. Then, the loud cheers turned into a call and response, leading to a moving song. Even though his voice sounds a little pained, there is no trace of sadness or desperation, and it gives him the strength to fight back. The image of Freddie Mercury, a rare entertainer, is clearly engraved on it. Other highlights include a sea of lighters spreading throughout the venue during the intro to "Somebody To Love," dressed as a woman in the same way as the promo video for "I Want To Break Free," and swinging and throwing a bra (?) around during the following "Jailhouse Rock." There are plenty of performances such as Freddy and others that can only be expected from a video. You can also see the scene where Brian May who has cut the strings in “Hammer To Fall” cannot make it in time for the chorus. Although they may not be in good shape, QUEEN and Freddie rock the venue with their all-out performance. A masterpiece video that perfectly captures the overflowing entertainment spirit from the audience's perspective. Beyond the 2CD, such a hot scene was spreading. This is a book that expands the taste of a masterpiece and increases your imagination hundreds of times. Please enjoy it to the fullest. Live at Stadthalle, Vienna, Austria 29th September 1984 1.
