From the second Japan tour accompanying "A Night At The Opera" in 1976, on March 23, the second day of the tour, the performance at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya was recorded for 1 hour and 36 minutes with the highest quality audience recording. Completely recorded. For this year's Nagoya performance, "A NIGHT AT THE NAGOYA" was released in 2009, in which the second half of the show was mastered from another unrecorded sound source, and the following year in 2010, it was released by an even more excellent master different from the previous one. The complete show “OPERATIC RHAPSODY” was released on the Uxbridge label as a CDR version. This board can be said to be an upper version of "OPERATIC RHAPSODY", and although the master source is the same, both the sound quality and content have been upgraded due to the difference in generation. The sound quality has the impression that the distance between the sounds has been shortened compared to the previous release, and as a result, the performance, especially the vocals, comes out to the fullest. Furthermore, the sound of White Queen's 1:22, 2:53, 3:36, 4:05, 4:50, 5:17, The Prophet's Song 0:56, and Big Spender's 0:44 is due to analog deterioration of the tape. It's not even the main disc. The abnormal noise around the recorder from around 17 seconds to 20 seconds of In the Lap Of The Gods...Revisited has been reduced to make it easier to listen to. The only drawback of this sound source, the lack of member introduction in the middle due to the tape change, has been carefully compensated for from another master "A NIGHT AT THE NAGOYA", just like the already released "OPERATIC RHAPSODY". During the 1976 Japan tour, it was clear that Freddie was not feeling well, but even at the Nagoya performance on the second day of the tour, the high range was already suffering (noticeable in Doing All Right), and although it was not as bad as Osaka later, the overall performance was poor. There are some parts where the melody is fake. Still, the feeling that they are performing in a good mood in front of enthusiastic fans can be felt from their MC and hard rocking numbers. The overall sound quality can be said to be excellent for a cassette recording at the time, and the spacious and thick sound is really wonderful, and the stable sound image is firmly captured up to the last God Save The Queen. The definitive sound source of the 1976 Nagoya performance with upgraded sound quality and content will be released.
