QUEEN + Adam Lambert's "The Rhapsody Tour" resumed after a two-year, three-month hiatus. A live album set that lets you fully experience the latest show is now available. This work includes two consecutive performances at the same venue. This is a superb audience recording of the "Manchester performance on May 30th and 31st, 2022". The "The Rhapsody Tour" began in 2019 following the huge success of the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody", but was then suspended in February 2020 due to the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic. It was postponed again and again, and was finally resumed recently. This work is the first report of such a latest tour. In order to know their current situation, let's start by reviewing the schedule that has been announced so far. Adam's solo April 28-May 6: North America (6 shows) QUEEN + Adam May 27-June 3: UK #1 (6 shows) ←★Here★ June 4: Platinum Jubilee appearance June 5-21: UK #2 (12 shows) June 24-July 25: Europe (18 shows) This is the outline of activities in 2022. First, Adam's solo mini tour, and "The Rhapsody Tour" will be restarted. The first step was a large-scale UK tour, with a total of 19 shows, including the Queen Elizabeth 70th Anniversary Concert (the so-called "Platinum Jubilee"). By the time this article is published, preparations for the final day of the tour, the London show, should be progressing steadily. In the midst of all this, the Manchester performance of this work was the opening concert of "UK #1", the third and fourth shows. This work, which vacuum-packs these two shows, is a neat and clear beautiful recording. Although the details are not known, it is probably a sister collection by the same recordist. After all, the sound is exactly the same. There is no sense of closeness that would be mistaken for a sound board, but that doesn't mean it feels far away. The slight hall sound is fine, giving thickness and dynamism to the core that stretches straight like a laser beam. Of course, it would be pointless if the details were hidden, but there is no need to worry about that with this work. The powerful core reaches the hand as if breaking through the veil of sound, and you can hear the details clearly. This sense of balance is close to what is called Kinney recording in Japan. Of course, the performance of the equipment is completely different from the 1980s when Kinney was active, and the sound world seems to have further brilliance and fineness. The beautiful sound depicts the two full performances of the latest "The Rhapsody Tour". The official live album "LIVE AROUND THE WORLD" was also released during the tour break, so let's organize the set while comparing them. 70's (15 songs) Sheer Heart Attack: Now I'm Here/Killer Queen (★)/In The Lap of the Gods... Revisited (★) A Night at the Opera: I'm In Love With My Car (★)/Love of My Life/'39 (★)/Bohemian Rhapsody Jazz: Don't Stop Me Now/Bicycle Race (★)/Fat Bottomed Girls Other: Seven Seas of Rhye (★)/Somebody To Love/Tie Your Mother Down (★)/We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions 80's and later (12 songs) The Works: Tear It Up/Hammer to Fall/I Want To Break Free/Radio Ga Ga Other: Another One Bites the Dust/Crazy Little Thing Called Love/Under Pressure/A Kind Of Magic (★)/Who Wants To Live Forever/I Want It All (★)/These Are the Days of Our Lives (★) / The Show Must Go On *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that cannot be heard on the official work "LIVE AROUND THE WORLD". ...And so it is. There are already a lot of "★" marks, but among them, "A Kind Of Magic", "These Are the Days of Our Lives", and (although there is no mark) "Tear It Up" are songs that have been revived for the first time in four years. These are repertoires that were not performed even at the Japan tour that was realized in January 2020. The performance that spells out such a set is also wonderful. Especially Adam's singing voice, who has turned 40 and is in his prime as a singer. He has always been a master of foolish skill and undeniable, but his rich voice and free control have been further refined, and his expressiveness that changes every moment is divine. Speaking of 40 years old, Freddie is the age of "LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM". You can enjoy the singing voice that is at its peak at this very moment. QUEEN + Adam Lambert have brought back a glittering collection of classic songs to a planet exhausted by the pandemic and war. This is a superb set that allows you to experience two full performances of this luxurious entertainment show. This four-disc set vividly brings back memories of the wonderful performances in Japan and allows you to immerse yourself in the continuation of that dream. This is a superb audience recording set of the "Manchester performance on May 30th + 31st, 2022". The subtle hall sound is finely detailed, giving thickness and dynamism to the core that stretches straight like a laser beam. The powerful core reaches all the way to your hands as if it breaks through the veil of sound, and you can hear every detail clearly. With a beautiful recording like that of the prestigious Kinney, you can fully experience two delicious performances of revival songs such as "A Kind Of Magic", "These Are the Days of Our Lives" and "Tear It Up".
