This work includes “THE GREAT ROCK 'N' ROLL STORY Part 2,” which was broadcast on November 24, 2003, the 12th anniversary of Freddie's death (by the way, five days after the broadcast, Brian & Roger's QUEEN appeared on Nelson Mandela's AIDS eradication campaign "46664 CONCERT"). Although it says "Part 2," this day's special program is actually a huge 5-hour special in 4 parts. While explaining their career, we will follow them with past PVs and professional shot live performances. Many of those live performances, such as the 1975 Hammersmith performance and the 1986 Wembley performance, are now official, but they were extremely valuable at the time. What is included in this work is the second part. However, even though it is a part, it is a professional shot program that lasts about 88 minutes. This work is also divided into a first half and a second half. The first half is a collection of PVs. This second part will feature clips from ``Flash Gordon'' to ``Flash Gordon,'' playing 11 songs in chronological order. Although not particularly valuable, what is interesting is the last "Flash". The clip itself is familiar, but the program's unique narration is added to connect the story to "HOT SPACE TOUR." The program is structured to write about the history of QUEEN. And what begins is the main shot of this work, “June 5, 1982 Milton Keynes Performance” pro shot. In fact, "ON FIRE: LIVE AT THE BOWL" was officially released in 2004. It had not yet been released in 2003 when this broadcast aired. You might think this is not unusual since it has already been made official, but it is actually a different version. It is an excerpt version of about 53 minutes, which is half of the show, but it is not only that. Other angles are also used. For example, the opening scene of "Flash". The official version used blurry image processing to finely switch between construction scenes and audience scenes, but this work basically focuses on the members. What's more, you can see the four of them arrive by helicopter and wait behind the stage in clear and realistic visuals without any image processing. And even after the show starts, things are different. The general outline is the same as the official version, but the timing of cuts is different, and scenes that cannot be seen in the official version appear in detail. I'm also happy that the MC has its own Japanese subtitles. Before "Love Of My Life," he playfully said, "I want to take a nap," and at the end of the song, he said, "Thank you for your support for the past 10 years." In fact, I'm curious as to why the Japanese version of the DVD didn't have subtitles either. Also, the audio of this work is different from the official version. It's different from the mix, but what's even more interesting is that it's uncensored. The most obvious one is "Fat Bottomed Girls." In the official version, Freddie sings well from beginning to end, but in this work, his voice is completely reversed in the second half of the song, ``Ain't no beauty queens in this locality.'' Of course, the reality is this work, but how did the official fix it when the same lyrics do not appear... Anyway, this show is really amazing. The European leg of “HOT SPACE TOUR” was a series of shows in which Freddie was at his best, to the point where it was semi-legendary, but the Milton Keynes performance of this work is the highlight of his home country. The piercing tension and endless singing voice are amazing. What a wonderful thing about "Somebody To Love", where the vibrato trembles while freely improvising... Some fans call it "a masterpiece of live performance," but even if you don't agree with it, you can understand it. Nowadays, the official version is out of print and is starting to get a premium price, which is ridiculous. Although this work is about half of the entire show, you can enjoy another version of such a wonderful professional shot. You can enjoy the PV of 11 songs and a different version of the masterpiece pro shot in the highest quality, but even more than that, the fact that this special program was made even 12 years after Freddie's death is heartwarming. By having an avalanche of familiar PVs, it is a masterpiece program that allows you to intuitively understand the position of this show in history. And the great performance of the century that shook Milton Keynes. A different version from "ON FIRE: LIVE AT THE BOWL". The camera layout and editing are different. Comes with original translation.
