Prince/TV Appearances 1979-2006

The most complete compilation of Prince's TV broadcasts is probably the six DVDs released, the TV Appearances series. It has a full menu screen, and the image and sound quality are remastered to a certain degree. Although there are some parts where the order of the video recording is wrong and there are some data errors (American Bandstand was broadcast on January 26, 1980, but was recorded on December 16, 1979, and as a result the title is TV Appearances 1979-2006, not 1980), it is almost consistent and highly complete. This time, they have been properly ripped and the menu screens have been reflected in the same way, and they have been reissued on 6 DVDRs. Although the TV footage from his later years, the live footage from his tour at Tokyo Dome in 1990, and some of his TV appearances in Europe in 1999 are not included, it is amazing that they have been included so well with almost perfect data. For now, this is a must-have video collection for fans who want to start watching Prince's videos, and also for further research. DVD 1 (1980-1991) 99min.
