The legendary broadcast of the Japanese performance is now available in the highest quality ever. This work includes the “August 31, 1990 Tokyo Dome performance” of “NUDE TOUR”, which is their third visit to Japan. It is a famous full-scale television broadcast from that time. As it is famous, many titles have been circulated so far, but this work is a direct digitization of the original master that was treasured by core video enthusiasts. This enthusiast is a person who continues to record while pursuing high-end equipment of the era, and even back then he used professional equipment for both reception and recording. This commitment is firmly engraved in the visual beauty projected in this work. The smooth yet glossy coloring remains as it was back then, and is as clear as a laser disc. It is in perfect condition, with no line noise or distortion, making it hard to believe that it was aired 26 years ago. I think it probably hasn't been regenerated once in 26 years, but even the bangs that flutter wildly in the wind of the fan and the veins bulging out at the temples are clearly visible. Since he is a master at that, he is also up-to-date and meticulous in digitization. We outsourced this work to an overseas manufacturer that we partner with for the LaserDisc reprint series, and used modern professional equipment to extract as much of the information contained on the tape as possible. It would be foolish to declare it now, but the quality is the "highest ever" and "highest ever" that wipes out all previous releases. This is what makes it a super high quality DVD that can be used as an official DVD. Prince is depicted with such quality at his peak, filling Tokyo Dome to capacity thanks in part to the huge hit of "BATMAN." The Greatest Hits Tour “NUDE TOUR” is a gorgeous show full of hit songs. The big spectacular show spreads across the screen. From the beginning, giant letters "P R I N C E" appeared on stage, and Prince appeared with a blue guitar in hand. The Japanese word ``Nude'' engraved on the white shirt and the word ``Human'' on the black pants are also clearly visible. Prince changes costumes many times during the show, and the word "love" is layered on the black costume for "Kiss," the orange suit for "Partyman" has "Gemini," and the black suit for the encore. The words ``Prince'' and ``Nude'' are also written in Japanese. Not only him, Rosie Gaines' costume has "soul", Miko Waver has "live", and dancer GAME BOYZ has "fierce man". Although there are only a few scenes of the audience seats shown in the professional shots of the TV broadcast, the images are always filled with a “Japanese feel”. At this point, those who attended the live performance that day may be wondering, "Huh?" In fact, the order of the songs in this broadcast is significantly different from the on-site stage. That said, it's not a complete shuffle either. There are commercials during the program, and the blocks that have been separated are replaced at once. To summarize briefly... A: "Take Me With U" - "Alphabet St." 3 songs 《CM》 B: "Kiss" - ``Purple Rain'' 2 songs 《CM》 C: ``The Question Of U'' - “Do Me, Baby” 3 songs 《CM》 D: “The Future” - 4 songs “Sexy Dancer” 《CM》 E: “Little Red” ``Corvette'' - 3 songs of ``Partyman'' 《CM》 F: 1 song of ``Baby I'm A Star''...The composition is like this. This is the recording order of this work, but the stage at the scene was in the order of "D → B → A → C → E → F". Although we considered returning the songs to the original order, we recorded them here as is, keeping in mind the era of the broadcast itself. Speaking of the era of broadcasting, there is another point: the commercials from that time are also included. Normally it would have been cut, but the "smell of the times" that emanates from this commercial is amazing. A diamond girl band appears, and a song by a male duo arrested for using stimulants plays in the background of a car commercial. The catchphrase ``Video Wonderland'' is nostalgic, and the image commercial for a resort company (later bankrupt) is also typical of the last days of the bubble economy. In addition, female entertainers who broke out on Band Boom's late-night show appeared, a dangerous detective is talking in a telephone booth, a member of Bebop High School is promoting a high-definition fax, and a woman with shoulder pads is getting wild. She's the wife of a synth player... The smell of those days when we believed that our flashy lives would last forever is so strong that it makes us choke. Of course, "nostalgic commercials" are just a bonus. Prince's brilliance, which is the main story, is the true path, and the commercials are, so to speak, a seasoning that wraps that brilliance with the scent of the times. Yes, Prince's "NUDE TOUR" was shining in the middle of this era. This creates a realistic feel to the touch. A masterpiece professional shot recorded by a video enthusiast who loves Prince with all his might. Incorporating this passion and history, we have packed everything into a DVD, including commercials that are full of the times. Tokyo Dome filled with the brilliance of Prince at his peak... no, BIG EGG. A piece that will forever preserve that dazzling concert in the highest quality ever. This weekend, this work will take you to “that night”. Live at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan 31st August 1990 Broadcast Date: 21st September 1990 (104:23) 1. Introduction 2. CM 3. Take Me With U 4.
