New York in April 2002 was probably the longest performance of Prince's ONA tour. A thorough analysis of the 6 hours of outstanding performances, including sound check, main show, after show, and gorgeous guest appearances! Prince's charm is on full display! This is a set of long main show 3CD and video DVD. Here, the main show is thoroughly recorded. First of all, the live performance is completely recorded with audience recording on CD. It has also been remastered so you can enjoy better sound quality. And although the footage is not perfect, it is miraculously filmed and edited by the audience, and the audio portion is synchronized with the live sound source. Although it is a bit rough because it was recorded digitally at the time, it captures Prince well, includes individual members, and has a solid closing. First of all, there was the 14-minute version of Rainbow Children, John's amazing drumming, Prince's low, tora-like voice, and the members' many plays that served as business cards. Unfortunately, this is not included in the video, so let's enjoy it with the sound. And the video is recorded from Muse 2 The Pharaoh. It's unstable at first, but then it settles down. In Xenophobia, during a drum solo, John Blackwell throws his stick once, takes off his jacket, takes off his hat, and, like Morris Day, gets a mirror from a mirror holder and combs his hair, even though he has short hair. Then, he plays the drums again, giving a very interesting performance. Also, the wonderful Prince guitar is perfect. In A Case Of U, Prince continues to play guitar and sing. On the other hand, Renato's piano solo is also excellent. There is no video for the final part of 1+1+1=3 and Love Rollercoaster, but there is sound. In The Other Side Of Pillow, Prince played the guitar and gracefully danced with the women in the audience. There are solos by Maceo Parker and Greg Boyer, which capture both of them well. We played Strange Relationship, saying that since Funkadelic and Prince weren't played on the radio, we were going to be on the radio. Prince sings while playing the piano, and the camera captures it well, pans almost perfectly during Rhonda Smith's bass solo, captures the entire stage during Pass The Peas, and captures Larry's performance during Sing A Simple Song.・Graham also appears and is shown dancing in high spirits. The beauty of the rare La, La, La, Means Eye Love U, which was only played at the beginning of the ONA tour, is eye-opening, but the cover of Rhonda and Prince's duet Didn't Cha Know?・Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest joins in, and he seems to be here to make small talk rather than rap, and he laughs with Prince, who is drinking water from a plastic bottle over and over again. I'm very happy to be able to see such a relaxing scene. Prince's guitar solo is excellent in When You Were Mine. At the beginning of Avalanche, Abraham Lincoln's words (prejudice and division breed war, so we should eliminate them) are displayed on the screen. In Family Name, there is Takumi who exquisitely presents the symbol-marked guitar to Prince. Immediately after the hit song medley, the intro of Another Star and the medley of Santana's songs started, and the video was distorted once around this point, resulting in incomplete recording. Unfortunately, there is no video of the first piano set, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Do Me Baby, Condition Of The Heart, Diamonds And Pearls, The Beautiful Ones, but please enjoy them with audio on the CDR. Prince's best throat, piano playing, and interaction with the audience are the strongest. And the video will reappear from the wonderful Purple Rain. On Nothing Compares 2 U, the band returns with Prince's piano and singing, and Maceo's saxophone. The image at the beginning of Free is distorted, but by the time the band comes in, the image focuses on Prince's piano, and I'm glad that Starfish And Coffee continues to have a band version, and I'm grateful that it's captured in the video. He captured the hearts of the audience with Sometimes It Snows In April, and with How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore, he danced his fingers and sang teasingly, and everyone reacted vividly to the song and had a great time. Then, everyone came together with Anna Stesia from the album Love Sexy, which was played for the first time in a while, and you can enjoy Prince's guitar handling and singing with Habibi on the guitar. The lyrics of Sexuality also pop out, Prince's low-pitched narration from The Rainbow Children reappears, and the NPG Music Club address appears on the screen to finish. Although there are some parts that are missing, it is a very important video that almost covers the entire main show of the ONA tour.
