Rain”. Introducing the legendary pro shot that is its origin. Prince is a genuine genius who has created countless masterpieces, and when it comes to his most famous songs and masterpieces, there is no one other than ``Purple Rain.'' The original version of the famous album “PURPLE RAIN” is also famous for being a live recording, but this work is a professional shot of that concert. This work was recorded on August 3, 1983, at a benefit concert for the Minnesota Dance Theater, a dance school in Prince's hometown of Minneapolis. At the time, Prince was getting a breakout hit with "1999," but guitarist Dez Dickerson left the band THE REVOLUTION, who was backing him, for religious reasons. Wendy Melvoin joined instead and the “golden lineup” was completed, and this concert was also its first performance. The monumental concert of such a fresh start was a great musical success. A local magazine raved about it, calling it ``the sweetest and most soulful show we've ever seen,'' and even drummer Bobby Z said, ``This is our best concert.'' Of course, it seemed that even Prince, the main character, had a good response, and he used it as the basic track of "Purple Rain," "I Would Die 4 U," and "Baby I'm A Star" on his new album (of course , the album is not exactly a live recording, but has overdubs and edits). This work is a professional shot of the concert captured with full-scale multi-camera over 75 minutes. The quality of vividly reflecting the legendary show is amazing, and it is unbelievable how fresh it is over 30 years ago. The image may turn off for a moment, but there are no dubbing marks or even line noise. Even one strand of the youthful Prince's hair, which was 25 years old at the time, is vivid. The performance depicted with that quality is exactly the sound of a band. From the opening, they dressed in studs and metallic jackets, joined the new member Wendy, and rocked hard while intertwining. There is a costume change, but rather than the extravagant entertainment or crazy dancing, what stands out here is Prince delivering ``breathing rock'' with the band. Moreover, the performance is hot. The fact that it became the origin of a historical masterpiece is enough proof, but there are also plenty of other extremely valuable performances on this day. The newly written songs "Purple Rain," "Let's Go Crazy," and "Computer Blue" are completely new performances, as well as Joni Mitchell's cover "A Case Of You," "Little Red Corvette" and "Electric Intercourse" from "1999." was also performed on stage for the first time. In particular, the unreleased song "Electric Intercourse" is an extremely rare song that has only been recorded as being played a few times in the 2010s. The highlight is each and every song, but the highlights are "I Would Die 4 U", "Baby I'm A Star", which became the basis for "PURPLE RAIN", and It would be "Purple Rain." “Historical”, “symbolic”, “musical heritage”… no matter how many words you use, this is a super masterpiece. Here is Prince behind that melody, that beat, that breathing. They look passionately at the audience, go wild, and sing with emotion. It is one that will be burned into your eyes with multi-camera professional shots. This is THE REVOLUTION's debut gig in the golden era, and it features a young Prince playing rock, numerous premieres, extremely rare live performances... and an original masterpiece. A piece packed with multi-camera professional shots of countless legends. A "legendary night" that changed Prince's life, changed the history of music, and changed our lives as well.
