A series of live performances held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel over the weekend from June 24th to July 8th, 2007. Because it was so formal (price was $3,121 for a couple, $312.1 for a standing room), it was almost impossible to record the audience, so I couldn't hear what the live performance was like for a long time. However, this time, it is a 5CD release that includes all the main shows and after shows from June 30, 2007 to July 1, 2007. First up is the main show on June 30th. It is a wonderful audience recording with a very realistic feeling. Although it is the main event, we do not have a regular live performance, and the event opens with a sensational jazz performance, Down By The Riverside. Next, Prince quietly sings Satisfied, plays a nice guitar, and interweaves Beggin' Woman Blues, making for a total of 20 minutes of blues! Mike Phillips' saxophone is also excellent. Then, 3121 includes a break and divides it into Part 1 and Part 2, giving a total of 10 minutes of funkness. Lee Hogans and Greg Boyer's horns are also roaring. Shelby and the Twins also stir things up with funky chorus work. In the second half, More Bounce To The Ounce, One Nation Under A Groove, Tom's Diner, etc. will pop out on Mike Phillips' talk box. From playing hit songs such as Cream and U Got The Look, Musicology turns into a jam where Mike and others' horns run wild. Prince And The Band also did a cool job, and from there, Shelby, the Twins, and Prince were all in high spirits during the other medleys of What Have You Don't For Me Lately, Partyman, and It's Alright! And The Dance, with Renato Neto's wonderful piano, is the perfect number to play at a luxury hotel. There is an even more elegant saxophone intro, a too beautiful version of Gotta Broken Heart Again, and now I and Shelby sing Love Is A Losing Game and overwhelm you. Sweet Thing, which Prince tends to sing, is mainly sung by Shelby here. From Take Me With U to Guitar's rock flow, danceable Lolita and funk mannerist Black Sweat's performance of 3121 songs, layered with Kiss's hit songs, and the beautiful song If I Was Your Girlfriend, it's a gem. , and at the end, the finale, Purple Rain, will leave you intoxicated, making it the perfect set for a Prince dinner show. And from the middle of Disc 2, there will be an after show on June 30th. Mike Phillips turns A Tribe Called Quest's Can I Kick It? into Can I Kick Hollywood, rapping over a slow smooth jazz sound. Mike sings the Stylistics' People Make The World Go Round using a vocoder and zap, as if Roger had descended. You can also enjoy his magnificent saxophone performance. Prince appears in Thelonious Monk's Straight, No Chaser. You can enjoy several great moments where Prince's avant-garde guitar intertwines with hard bop jazz. And even though it's a very thrilling and fast Stratus, Prince's guitar is still very euphoric. And the strong guitar is the same in Anotherloverholenyohead, Prince concentrates on playing without singing, and the audience sings. The avalanche of Rock Lobster interweaves Peach and Bambi's guitar phrases in the middle, creating a unique sound that gets the audience excited. Disc 3 will be the main show on July 1st. It started with a performance of Pee Wee Ellis' The Chicken. JB's jazzy funk will make your body move. Mike plays the saxophone, flute, and other phrases freely. Elevator research is also very effective. Jungle-style Afro-Cuban rhythm, jazz with the swing feel of Duke Ellington's Caravan, followed by a super funk jam, and now Prince appears! Mike Phillips sings Zapp's More Bounce To The Ounce, Roger's California Love, and Bobby Brown's Humpin' Around with a vocoder, Prince also stirs up the audience, and Girls & Boys also sings a little. The performance ended once, but this time it was time for Girls & Boys in earnest. Prince also sings well, but phrases such as Cutie Pie and Da Ya Think I'm Sexy also pop out, and Prince also incorporates chants of Holy Rock. Then there's Musicology, a solid performance by Prince And The Band, and Sheila E's A Love Bizarre, which has a solid horn, but is sung by Prince, and then Prince plays a mysterious man as Quincy Jones. It is with great pride that I introduce this. And after that, phrases that I have never heard before are intertwined and are three consecutive hits of Hakubi and Forbidden! Play That Funky Music is sung by movie director Tyler Perry and actor Patrick Swayze, but neither of them are very good at it. And Sweet Thing is first sung by Marva King, with Shelby on the chorus. Next, they sing in reverse, and Prince joins them in the chorus. A jazzy horn phrase enters lightly, which becomes the intro, followed by What A Wonderful World with Renato's piano and Mike's saxophone, Shhh suddenly starts, Take Me With U comes where you want it to come, and from there it smoothly flows into Guitar. That's what I was waiting for. If I Was Your Girlfriend, where Prince's singing voice resonates, the development changes from the second half and leads to Pink Cashmere's performance. The way they sing gradually breaks down, and the chorus becomes completely different. There are parts of the song that are sung with unknown lyrics, like unreleased songs. It also features Mike's saxophone solo. This is a surprise performance of just under 8 minutes. Then there's the pop-rock Cream and U Got The Look, and just as it looks like it's going to end here, the super aggressive Black Sweat kicks in, and Prince has this funk too! That's what I'm saying. After Prince's MC of many hit songs, Kiss immediately went into Let's Go Crazy with a compact version of 2 and a half minutes. It's been like a roller coaster. After a break, Sheila E. appeared on stage and got excited with The Glamorous Life, adding a percussion solo at the end of the performance. And from Prince's speech, Nothing Compares 2 U is a super pure version of Prince singing with all his heart and soul. The saxophone is also very elegant, elegant and wonderful. The aftershow will be held on July 1st, starting with Disc 4's introduction by Mike Phillips. During Mike's cheerful MC and band introduction, the performance progressed and Wayne Shorter's Footprints began. It seems like Prince is already there, but the piano and saxophone are featured heavily, so it's unclear how much he contributed. However, the sound quality is good and the performance is great, making it the best opening 13 minutes. Next up is The World Is A Ghetto, which doesn't seem to have Prince, but this slow jazz funk is wonderful and you can see how the members are all very skilled. The Average White Band's cover School Boy Crush is unveiled for the first time at this time, and it is a very wonderful arrangement that explodes with Prince's rough guitar. It also features Let Me Blow Ya Mind, which features Eve's elegant rapping. Prince's guitar has a strong presence here as well. Mother's Finest's Love Changes is a very comfortable song with a blend of elegant urban sound and sophisticated urban sound. Shelby sings, she's an imposing newcomer, and she's just an amazing talent. Prince is probably used to it because he played it during his Tamer days, and it features a great guitar. As it is, Mother's Finest's Baby Love includes Marva King, but the chorus seems to be the main focus. Prince also joins in the chorus. The vocoder is also slightly covered. The guitar is also a big feature. The next song, Mind In 7, centered around an artist called The Jack, is a 13-minute avant-garde jazz funk with electro elements, and includes sound effects like a vibraphone or Maurice White's kalimba. Also features a rap by The Jack. Mike Phillips' MC, vocoder prodding, funky backing, and Prince's What Is Hip? guitar. The guitar plays the melody without singing. It may be that my throat is straining because I perform live every day. Still, from the second half onwards, Prince starts shouting and stirring things up, so I guess he just wants to show off a really cool instrumental version. Then I went to Stratus, just as Prince's guitar was in good condition. The following, The Dance, features Renato Neto's elegant piano playing. And of course, the sparkling and brilliant guitar tone of Shelby's Love Is A Losing Game is Prince. It's a great performance. The last song was Peach where Prince completely monopolized the stage. An irregular version of B.B. King's Rock Me, Baby with Peach in the background. It lasts just under three minutes, and from there it becomes a funk jam titled It Ain't Over! Mike's speedy saxophone, phrases from Housequake and 3121, Prince's guitar, and a 6-minute performance that ends with Mike singing the Carol Burnett Show theme, ``I'm glad we can spend this time together.'' will play and end.
