The Purple Rain Tour was the largest US tour of Prince's career, with the movie and album Purple Rain becoming a worldwide hit. The first day of the February 27th performance at the San Francisco Cow Palace, where a total of six performances were held from February 27th to March 5th, 1985, is recorded with a stereo soundboard source of the highest quality.
