Zakk Wylde became independent after Ozzy retired. A new video of his first band "PRIDE & GLORY"'s performance in Japan has been unearthed. What is engraved in this work is the "November 10, 1994: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall" performance. It is a transcendental video with professional shots of those involved + stereo sound board directly connected to the desk. I have introduced the masterpiece soundboard “MACHINE GUN OSAKA”, but this work is of course a separate performance. In order to get an idea of the situation, let's first check the show's position on the schedule at that time.・November 4th: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall ・November 5th: Nagoya Club Quattro ・November 7th: Amasin Archaic Hall ←※MACHINE GUN OSAKA ・November 10th: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall ←★This work★ [Extraordinary shots of people involved + sound board directly connected to the table] There are 4 performances in total. The schedule included two concerts in Tokyo, with stops in Osaka and Nagoya, but this work was filmed on the last day of the concert. And that quality is what really stands out. It is an original master brought through a unique route, but its source is the people involved at the time. The screen says “1994 11 9”, so for a moment you might think “Another show?”, but as mentioned above, there is no show on “November 9th”. The staff visiting Japan probably didn't adjust the camera's clock and kept it at overseas time, but even that is so realistic. I suddenly went off topic, but what was shocking was the quality. It's not just the level of genealogy that is certain, but the first thing that scares me is the spectacular scenery with the ``super'' rating. At first glance, I think it might be an audience shot from the stage shop or to the right (in front of Zack), but the viewpoint is too high for that. He looked directly at the stage over the heads of the audience in front of him, and could clearly see everything from the tip of Zack's head to the soles of his feet on the monitor. Moreover, at maximum zoom, each guitar string is clearly detailed, and the individual zooms of Brian Tichy and John DiSalvo are perfect. The stable feel makes you think that a tripod is being used, but the smooth scrolling camera work doesn't feel choppy. In any case, it is a superb view that “although the standing position is inside the audience seats, it cannot be called an audience shot”. Even more important is the sound. The Omoto master also recorded the camera's microphone audio, but this person also leaked a super high-quality stereo sound board that was directly connected to the mix table of the same show. In this work, the masters of these two parties are synchronized. What's more, this is also the superlative quality of an official live album, and it adds an even more official feel to the pro-shot quality footage (the original camera audio can be enjoyed on the bonus track "Digest"). (This boat truck is a 2-minute compilation of the highlights of the show by the people involved in the filming.) [Organic and super hot wild rock that is different from BLS] “Involved shots + sound board directly connected to the table”… This can be called a “one-camera professional shot”. What is depicted with such transcendent quality is a delicious full show in which the young Zack goes on an aggressive rampage, but is not as heavy as BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. First, let's organize the set. PRIDE & GLORY (11 songs)・Toe'n The Line/Horse Called War/Harvester Of Pain/The Chosen One/Losin' Your Mind/Troubled Wine/Machine Gun Man/Sweet Jesus/Fadin' Away/Lovin' Woman/Shine On Other covers (3 songs), BLACK SABBATH: Fairies Wear Boots/War Pigs, MOUNTAIN: Mississippi Queen (guest appearance by Stevie Salas)... and so on. All the songs from his first leader album ``PRIDE & GLORY'' except ``Cry Me a River'' and ``Found a Friend'' are performed, and three fun covers are sprinkled among them. I thought the SABBATH number was familiar...but "Fairies Wear Boots" had never been played at BLS, and is a valuable number that has finally been revived by ZAKK SABBATH in recent years. And the performances that put together such a set are amazing! In addition to Zack, who has a dynamic bending and harmonics that can't be mistaken with anyone else, the trio with DiSalvo, who will be his partner on BLS unlike on the album, is super hot. An ensemble in which three people play on their own is more like a ``jam using the song as material'' than ``playing a song.'' In an instant, they seem to have come together in an ironclad structure, and in the next moment, they are disintegrating freely, organically intertwining phrases and riffs that are thrown at each other. It's not like the 1980s, when shows focused on songs, and they don't specialize in heaviness like BLS. It clearly depicts the 70's artsy feel with greatly improved technique and extremely thick sound...it truly embodies the ideal image of 90's hard rock. [Final performance with special guests] And the highlight was the first encore song, MOUNTAIN cover "Mississippi Queen." Here, Stevie Salas, who had previously performed in Japan, will be a guest, and you can see the best guitar hero feast of our time. The hot jam sensation alone is wonderful enough, but it's also rare to see Salas playing the famous "grilled crown" Les Paul, and Zack facing Salas and getting excited by the audience is also exciting. You can experience the rare co-starring that could not be seen in Osaka with a one-camera professional shot (by the way, Saras' performance in Japan was at the end of October. After that, he was in Japan for 10 days). PRIDE & GLORY didn't lean too heavy, although Zack, who has always been active and carefree, played the leading role. This is an amazing new excavated video that allows you to enjoy a full show that is the prototype of BLS, but also a continuation of NO MORE TEARS, with the best one-camera professional shot. The first ever video leaked by the people involved! !
