THE POLICE in 1979, when the impact of their debut spread all over the world and they even achieved the breakthrough of the single "Message In A Bottle". Three soundboard albums that inject aggressive live performances into your brain have been decided to be released simultaneously! It is the highest peak master CD supervised by a researcher. This work is the first of such a trilogy. It is a stereo soundboard recording of the "Sittard Geleen performance on June 4, 1979". Speaking of 1979, it was the time when the "OUTLANDOS D'AMOUR Tour" and the "REGGATTA DE BLANC Tour" intersected, and this week is the simultaneous release from both. First of all, let's check the position of each in the schedule at that time. “OUTLANDOS D'AMOUR Tour” ・January 9th-February 21st: Europe #1 (24 shows) ・March 1st-April 9th: North America #1 (30 shows) ・April 12th-25th: Europe #2 (3 shows) ・April 27th-May 25th: North America #2 (23 shows) ←※CHICAGO 1979 PRE-FM ・May 31st-June 24th: Europe #3 (22 shows) ←★This work★ & PARADISO 1979《August “REGGATTA DE BLANC” completed》《September 21st: Single “Message In A Bottle” released》“REGGATTA DE BLANC Tour” ・August 17th-September 23rd: Europe #4 (17 shows) ・September 27th-30th: North America #3a (4 shows)《October 2nd “REGGATTA DE BLANC” release》・October 2nd-December 1st: North America #3b (41 performances) ←※PALLADIUM 1979・December 3rd-22nd: Europe #5 (15 performances)This is THE POLICE in 1979. Of the three titles released simultaneously, this work and “Europe #3” at the end of “PARADISO 1979” and “PALLADIUM 1979” are live albums of the “REGGATTA DE BLANC Tour”. In particular, this work is a soundboard recording from the appearance at the famous Dutch music festival “Pinkpop Festival”. Such a work is truly the best. Speaking of “Pinkpop Festival”, there is also a short TV broadcast pro shot, but unlike the mono sound, it is a beautifully separated stereo FM broadcast. Moreover, this work is a masterpiece that has been digitized from the best master. In fact, the sound flowing from this work is undoubtedly “completely official grade” ……… or more. In our shop, we have been pressing standard sound boards with the highest quality under the guidance of David Bowie and U2 researchers. This work is the THE POLICE version. A researcher who is familiar with all broadcasts/records uses a master who says "This is the best!" and further supervises the finish of the mastering. Because he is familiar with THE POLICE, he has permanently preserved the "real sound". Sounds like this one are really hard to put into words. It is the apex of famous recordings that have traditionally been called "official class", so it is like talking about the superiority or inferiority of remastered versions of official works. The stability of the sound, the beauty of the sound that is close to the master tape, and the reality that is tactile even to the presence of the instruments... That is what makes it a transcendent sound board that stands on the horizon like the prestigious official remasters "MFSL" and "DCC". Such "extreme sound" depicts THE POLICE, which was on the eve of the breakthrough of the single "Message In A Bottle". Although it was a short set only for a festival appearance, they packed in a killer repertoire that was full of the characteristics of that time in about 50 minutes. Let's experience the richness of it here. Outlandos D'Amour, Truth Hits Everybody, So Lonely, Born In The 50's, Hole in My Life, Peanuts, Roxanne, Next to You, Others, Fall Out, Message in a Bottle, Can't Stand Losing You, Regatta De Blanc... It's like this. The big play from ``OUTLANDOS D'AMOUR'' seems to be from the debut era, and ``Message In A Bottle'', which was not yet released, is woven into it. The famous songs unique to that time such as ``Fall Out'', ``Born In The 50's'', and ``Peanuts'' are delicious, but more than that, this sense of balance exudes the strong scent of ``1979''. And the fierce performance that spells out such a set is amazing. It's amazing. Sting, who was 27 years old at the time, had a burning ambition and energy, and even if he sprinted at full speed for a short set, he didn't seem to get out of breath. Even with a full set of more than two hours, the youthfulness was condensed into a short time, and the heat of overwhelming other bands blew out of the speakers and never stopped. A great eruption of a different dimension from the sense of value of the number of songs was poured into the sound board directly connected to the brain. This is a permanent preservation of the stereo sound board of the youth explosion with the highest peak master. Even in the three consecutive works released simultaneously this week, it is a masterpiece that is outstanding in terms of heat and concentration. The pleasure of having live performance poured into your brain. Stereo sound board recording of the "Pink Pop Festival Performance on June 4, 1979". The highest peak master carefully selected by researchers of THE POLICE is of the completely official class, with a sense of stability of the sound, the beauty of the sound that is close to the master tape, and the reality of the presence of the instruments... everything is at the official work level. It's a short set for a festival, but the ambition and energy of Sting, who was 27 years old at the time, sprints at full speed without running out of breath. A new masterpiece with a rich and passionate performance. Burgemeester Damen Sportpark, Geleen, Netherlands 4th June 1979 STEREO SBD(UPGRADE)(48:04) 01. Truth Hits Everybody 02. So Lonely 03.
