This work records the same "ROCK ON THE TYNE FESTIVAL performance on July 31, 1982" as the 2CD. It is a multi-camera pro shot. This festival was broadcast on television at the time, but the THE POLICE edition, which was the main event, was made official in 1996. In 2001, it was also released on DVD exclusively in Japan. Of course, it has been out of print for a long time, but this work is the highest version reprinted from the best master. The quality is (naturally) completely official. It is an analog film due to the era, and the stereo feeling is weaker than the 2CD, and the mix is a bit rough. However, the freshness is the master quality that is only possible because it is official, and the stage from 40 years ago is revived with no deterioration. In addition, the taste unique to the video is Japanese subtitles. As expected, the lyrics are not translated into Japanese, but the MC is fully translated into Japanese. Sting's hot-blooded words and humor can be vividly understood. The "GHOST IN THE MACHINE Tour" depicted with such beautiful images is overwhelming. The set is the same as the 2CD, so I will skip it, but the persuasive power is immense because you can see it with your eyes. Sting, who just turned 30, has a sharp singing voice and a crisp step, and THE POLICE, who will be the final act of the festival, has a magnificent presence. The horn section also feels even more gorgeous when seen with a multi-camera that zooms in on each member. Furthermore, the mood of the stage is fantastic. Because the UK is at a high latitude, the sun is high until late in the summer, and the sunset on this day was after 9 p.m. Therefore, it finally became dusk when THE POLICE, the final act, performed, and from there it became darker and darker with each song. At first, the natural sunlight made it easy to see every corner of the stage, but gradually the presence of the lighting increased and was replaced by a dazzling, colorful light show... you can witness the whole story. The 2CD is a live album that reigns at the top of the "GHOST IN THE MACHINE Tour" with a sound that goes beyond the official sound. In contrast, this work is the pinnacle of the video version. The record itself is a valuable tour master. International Stadium, Gateshead, England 31st July 1982 PRO-SHOT DVD(88:16) 1. Intro/Voices Inside My Head 2. Message In A Bottle 3.
